News & Announcements Thailand Chang International Circuit May 27
New duo Karol Basz and "Kiki" Sak Nana made an impressive debut in the 2025 TSS Super Series season opener, taking a podium finish in the first race and pole position in the second in the second generation Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II for B-Quik Absolute Racing. Am teammate Adisak Tangphuncharoen and Sathaporn Veerachue also performed well at the 4.554km Buriram International Circuit, finishing in the top five in the first race and then going one step further to complete their debut.
The second race was full of regrets for Polish driver Basz and local star driver Nana. They started from pole position, but were forced to retire due to a failure of the car's rain lights after heavy rain caused a safety car intervention for several laps. Teammates Tangphuncharoen and Veerachue continued to advance in another Audi car. After the car spun due to the slippery track surface and lack of grip, they caught up and finally missed the podium by one step.
The 2025 TSS Super Series season kicked off at the Buriram Circuit with a one-hour race in clear weather. B-Quik Absolute Racing fielded two second-generation Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II cars, with "Kiki" Sak Nana starting the first stage from third place in the first car, while Sathaporn Veerachue started the other car from sixth place.
Veerachue moved up the order after a rival retired, and both he and Nana maintained a steady pace in the opening laps. This continued until the pit stop window opened, when Nana handed over the car to Karol Basz in third place and Veerachue handed over the car to Adisak Tangphuncharoen, also a member of the B-Quik Young Driver Development Program, in fifth place.
During the pit stop, Nana and Basz had to accept extra pit stop time due to their Silver/Bronze class, bringing the total pit stop time to 113 seconds, but pole position driver Basz quickly made up for this disadvantage, surpassing Tangphuncharoen to regain the third place in the field.
As the Pro drivers came on stage, the two Audi cars continued to show strong speed and stability, ranking third and fourth respectively. In the final stage of the race, despite facing more experienced opponents, Tangphuncharoen performed well, but was surpassed by a Silver Pro driver at the end of the race and fell to fifth place in the field.
Nana and Basz crossed the finish line in third place, taking the overall podium in their first partnership in the TSS Super Series, while teammates Veerachue and Tangphuncharoen finished the 38-lap race in fifth place.
On a slippery track, with heavy rain still continuing, Karol Basz started from pole position and took the lead in a mist of water. The 33-year-old driver was undeterred by the poor track conditions and quickly built up a lead of nearly two seconds despite the intensifying rain.
After Basz, Adisak Tangphuncharoen took the helm in the first stage, starting from fifth place in another second-generation Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II from the B-Quik Absolute Racing team. However, the track conditions affected the car and it spun after driving on the slippery kerb, but thanks to the quick reaction of the car and the driver, Adisak was able to control the situation and successfully get out of trouble after the car left the track and rejoined the race.
Just five minutes into the race, the safety car was deployed due to the danger of the car sliding on the water. This meant that Basz's previously accumulated lead was gone, and the gap between the cars gradually narrowed. After a few laps, the rain eased and the race was restarted.
When the race restarted, Basz successfully resisted the opponent's strong attack. The two cars fought for position many times and Basz, the pole position winner, finally maintained the lead. Just as he was defending his opponent in the leading position, the car's rain light malfunctioned, triggering a black and orange flag, and the team had to pit the car and retire.
At the same time, Tangphuncharoen chased after the car spun, and handed the Audi car to his teammate Sathaporn Veerachue in sixth place when he stopped the car. Veerachue, who is also in the Am category, drove onto the gradually drying track in fifth place and continued to catch up with his opponent in front. He then successfully overtook a more experienced driver and rose to fourth place in the race. After that, he chased with all his strength, constantly shortening the distance between him and the podium, and finally finished fourth in the race.
