News & Announcements Japan Fuji International Speedway Circuit July 14
The Fuji Station of the 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Cup came to an end. In the eighth round of the race on Sunday morning, the fates of the two R8 LMS GT3 Evo II cars of the Audi camp were very different.
**Although the No. 45 team was defeated, it still ranked first in the silver group points list; the No. 46 team staged a "chasing battle" and finished the race steadily. **

Cheng Congfu & Yu Kuai
The No. 45 car, which won the silver group championship on Saturday, unexpectedly stopped in the first lap of this round. This weekend's race can be described as a world of ice and fire for them.
Yu Kuai started from P13 and showed a positive rhythm at the start. He tried to gain further position when entering the first corner, but there were continuous collisions in the melee. Although Yu Kuai quickly drove the car out of the safety zone of the track to avoid triggering the yellow flag, the game ended early for him and Cheng Congfu.
Fortunately, with the excellent performance in the previous rounds, the team still ranks first in the silver group standings!
Audi Sport Asia - Phantom Global Team
Bian Ye & Winkelhock
In contrast, the No. 46 car completed a "comeback against the wind" in this race.
Winkelhock started from P19 and started strongly, chasing 4 places in a row. But on the second lap, he encountered a collision with the car behind him at a yellow flag corner, and the car lost control and skidded, falling to the last place of the whole field. But Winkelhock immediately adjusted his state, quickly counterattacked, and completed high-quality overtaking many times, and finally chased the ranking to P22 before pitting.
After taking over, Bianye continued his good rhythm, remained calm at high speed, successfully avoided the melee, and finally finished 17th in the whole race and won the 8th place in the Pro/Am category.
With the arrival of the summer break, drivers and teams will temporarily bid farewell to the fierce battle and usher in a short adjustment time. The GT World Challenge Asia Cup will move to Okayama International Circuit from August 29th to 31st. This is the penultimate stop of the 2025 season and a key turning point in the points race.
**Everyone, let's fight again in Okayama! **
