Uno Racing Team returns to China GT Shanghai

News & Announcements China Shanghai International Circuit May 15

From May 16th to 18th, the second round of the China GT China Supercar Championship will officially kick off at the Shanghai International Circuit. Uno Racing Team will send an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II car to participate in the GT3 Pro-Am category. Rio and Anson Chen, the two main drivers, will continue to fight side by side to compete for the honor of the category!

Whether in the field of domestic or international competitions, the Shanghai International Circuit has always been a battleground for all the teams. This 5.451-kilometer-long track with a total of 16 corners has witnessed many classic moments in motorsports since its construction. This weekend, a group of China GT drivers will start the "Shanghai Race Second Battle" in Shanghai to compete for the championship honor.

Back in late April, Uno Racing Team set out for the China GT China Supercar Championship 2025 season Shanghai opener with a two-car lineup. Although the No. 98 car driven by Rio and Chen Yechong failed to win any prizes in the two rounds of the weekend, the team had a very exciting offensive and defensive battle with the high-class cars in the second round on Sunday, thanks to the tacit cooperation in the first round on Saturday. The team has shown strong strength.

As a long-term partner of Uno Racing Team, Chen Yechong has participated in various GT events on behalf of Uno Racing Team in the past two years. In the 2024 season, he won the Am category trophy in the GT Sprint Series (GTSC) many times throughout the year. In the same year, the Shanghai 8-Hour Endurance Race further accumulated more experience in driving GT3 models. In this round of events, Chen Yechong will once again face the test of the China GT battlefield.

Rio, the main driver of Uno Racing Team, will continue to compete in China GT in this round. Rio has represented the team in many overseas battles this season, and has shown excellent competitiveness in the duel with factory professional drivers, winning the group podium twice and shining in major GT arenas. This weekend, Rio will join forces with Chen Yechong again to challenge the podium.

The China GT China Supercar Championship is on fire again, and the "Shanghai Second Round" is about to start. Uno Racing Team will fully support Rio and Anson this weekend to help the No. 98 pink four-ring car achieve good results! Let us wish the two main members to represent the team in Shanghai to create more glory!
