Uno Racing Team returns to Guia with Tarmac Works & Sanrio
News & Announcements Macau S.A.R. Macau Guia Circuit October 24
The 72nd Macau Grand Prix, an annual international motorsport event, will be held from November 13th to 16th. The highly anticipated FIA GT World Cup will once again bring together top GT teams and star drivers from around the world for the annual showdown on the legendary Guia street circuit.

Uno Racing Team has officially announced that it will once again be teaming up with Hong Kong star driver Adderly Fong to compete in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II. This will be the fourth consecutive year the team has partnered with Tarmac Works and Sanrio to compete in Macau. This year's car will feature a new "Cinnamoroll" livery, showcasing both cuteness and speed, and will once again shine brightly in the Guia.

Since 2022, Uno Racing Team has collaborated with Sanrio, blending racing culture with trendy fashion to create a unique visual identity for the Macau racetrack. From the debut of the "Hello Kitty" livery to last year's critically acclaimed "Kuromi," each racing livery has become a focal point on the street circuit with its distinctive personality and playful imagery. This year, the all-new "Big Eared Dog" themed race car will debut in Guia. Its gentle blue and white color scheme and soothing character imagery will bring a touch of lightness and courage to the fierce GT battles.

As the crown jewel of GT racing, the FIA GT World Cup attracts a strong field from around the world each year. This year's World Cup field is unprecedentedly strong, featuring numerous manufacturer-level teams and international GT champions. The impressive field and fierce competition further confirm the FIA GT World Cup's status as the "world's most intense GT street race."

The Guia Circuit, a 6.2-kilometer circuit comprised of high-speed sections, narrow streets, and blind corners, is known as the "toughest city circuit." Drivers must not only brake hard before the Lisboa Bend and maintain pace through the successive corners in the hilltop section, but also meticulously manage the width of their cars and the distance to the walls. A single mistake could end their entire weekend.

For Fang Junyu, this street is both a challenge and a source of faith. 2025 will be his 11th Macau Grand Prix. Recalling last year's rainy race, he raced through the streets of Macau in his Coolmi-painted car. With calm judgment and steady pace, he was at the top of the Silver class at one point, but unfortunately, he collided with an opponent and lost the race position. He ultimately finished second in the Silver class, bringing valuable honor to the team.

This year's FIA GT World Cup saw key innovations in both technical specifications and racing format. Technically, all cars must be equipped with torque sensors to monitor vehicle power output in real time. This allows the race committee to more accurately implement Balance of Performance (BOP) and ensure fair competition between cars from different brands. The race will also feature a "Super Pole" session following Friday's qualifying session. The top ten drivers from the regular qualifying session will compete in a two-lap race around the Guia Circuit to determine pole position for Saturday's preliminaries!

From his initial dream to competing against the world's top teams today, Fong Chun-yu and the Uno Racing Team have shared every highlight and challenge of the Macau circuit. Their four-year partnership with Sanrio is not only a brand partnership, but also a continuation of team spirit and cultural communication. Between the steel and the speed, warmth and emotion are injected. This year, Fong Chun-yu and "Big Ear Dog" will take to the Guia Circuit together, continuing to write a new chapter in the racing culture of Hong Kong and Macau. Amidst familiar turns and roars, a new story is about to unfold.
