Visit Ningbo again,

Heroes build a famous racing city

In 2017, CTCC visited Ningbo with WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) on the first racing weekend of Ningbo International Circuit, unlocking the speed passion of the mountain and sea for the first time. Ningbo then witnessed the world's top touring car events of CTCC and WTCC/WTCR for three consecutive years.

This year, CTCC visited Ningbo again, bringing three major events, gathering 63 of the world's latest TCRs and modified racing cars of different styles. Nearly 100 top drivers from China, Singapore and Indonesia gathered in Ningbo to present nine rounds of exciting competitions.

During the period, Beijing Feizi Racing Team, Beijing DTM Racing, Beijing Fit Racing Team, China Macau MACPRO Racing, Guangzhou Spark Racing, Shenzhen Bonu Racing Team, Zhaoqing YBS Racing Team, SAIC Volkswagen 333 Racing Team, Shanghai Z.SPEED N Racing Team, Shanghai Yile Racing Team, Lynk & Co., Zhejiang 326 Racing, Ningbo Jinyutu GYT Racing Team, etc. Racing's heated battles truly demonstrated the unique charm of the China Automobile Professional Circuit League. The re-joining of stars such as Aarif Lee, coupled with every explosive moment of competition, have driven Ningbo's automobile sports to "go viral", and the "small motor" of the local cultural and sports industry has also started to run rapidly.

Build a "circle of friends" for Chinese racing,

Fully stimulate the commercial vitality of racing

Coming to the second stop of the season, CTCC brought the iconic top lineup, hot atmosphere, and leading business model to Ningbo. The gathering of various racing elites and industry leaders in Ningbo has also made CTCC a "circle of friends" for Chinese racing, creating a window to showcase the style of Chinese racing.

The Ningbo station in Zhejiang Province attracted a total of 41 TCR racing cars to the stage, telling the unlimited potential of the Chinese racing market. Driven by CTCC, the Golden League has successfully stimulated the commercial vitality of racing. The CTCC TCR China Championship has not only attracted the participation of automobile brands such as Lynk & Co, Hyundai Motor N brand, and SAIC Volkswagen, but also companies from various industries such as Shiroshi and Mingxing's "Xiangyongche". The Asian debut of the CUPRA Leon VZ TCR racing car is a vivid testimony to the fact that Chinese TCR racing cars are at the forefront of Asia-Pacific. The independent racing cars of the China Cup have also repeatedly performed well, demonstrating the strong strength of China's independent racing industry.

In addition, in the 2025 season, CTCC will continue to work hard on the professionalization and commercial promotion of the team, launching empowerment plans such as the "Brand Exposure System". With the rising popularity of the event, it will provide more exposure opportunities for the team and sponsors in the full-scene communication of the event broadcast, supporting the team and brand to expand their commercial value.

Against this backdrop, the China Cup attracted the participation of automotive aftermarket brands and professional R&D institutions such as Feizi Brake, Artek, set, and Yile. These companies not only achieved brand exposure through participation, but also tested product quality through the competition, assisted in product R&D and optimization, and expanded brand voice through the diversified channels built by CTCC.

Single rider breaks the formation,

Two heroes write a textbook of attack and defense

Coming to the second final day, all the drivers went all out and presented a high-quality duel. The second round of the CTCC·TCR China Championship adopted a reverse start, and more exciting overtaking scenes arrived as expected. Zhang Zhendong of Shanghai Z.SPEED N Team once again challenged the Lynk & Co team, and staged a long offensive and defensive duel with Zhang Zhiqiang and Zhu Dawei of Lynk & Co Jiekai Team. The cars of the two camps were connected head to tail, and the fight was hard to be resolved, presenting a textbook-like contest between masters.

Zhang Zhendong enjoyed the smooth and fierce offense and defense this season. "Today is Mother's Day, and this championship is dedicated to my mother. I started smoothly in this round and quickly overtook the front row. Then I kept resisting Zhang Zhiqiang's high-pressure attack, which also led to huge tire consumption. I kept the gap with my opponent later, crossed the finish line smoothly and won the championship. It is not easy to challenge 5 Lynk & Co cars in this station. Thanks to the team's efforts. I also want to thank the two opponents. We fought fiercely and restrained in the game. I am very happy that the competitive level has improved significantly this season."

Zhu Dawei said after the race: "My body was not in the best condition this weekend. I felt a little uncomfortable in the last two laps because of a fever, and the car also encountered water temperature problems. During the race, I started from the strategy of maintaining the team and driver points, and did not try very aggressive overtaking, but in fact, I still had the opportunity to impact a higher ranking. The team did a very good job this weekend, and we ran smoothly as a whole and finally brought it back safely. For the team, winning the second and third place and winning the team cup championship is also a very powerful result."

Full-domain competition,

City teams launched a group battle

The drivers of the Challenge Group of the CTCC·TCR China Championship also performed brilliantly. Huang Ying of Guiyang DTM Racing By FORCE fought hard to keep up with the pace of the professional group drivers; Lai Jingwen of Zhejiang 326 Racing came to the podium again, continuing the excellent momentum of this station; Wen Shaoming of Shileshi Norris Racing and Gao Yaou of Mingxing OUR Racing had a cross-group dialogue, and Deng Baowei of Zhuhai SS MRC Racing Team and Chen Fangping of Zhuzhou Jiren Ziyou Tianxiang Racing Team also launched an extremely fierce competition. All the players of the CTCC·TCR China Championship were fully fired up and fought fiercely throughout the whole process.
