From September 20th to 21st, the fifth round of the 2025 CTCC China Auto Circuit Professional League and the final round of the China GT China Supercar Championship will take place at the Shanghai International Circuit, relaunching the "Golden League" format and featuring a stellar field of over 100 cars and nearly 200 drivers. Numerous renowned Chinese and international professional drivers will gather in Jiading, Shanghai. Wang Yibo, Aarif Lee, and Xu Weizhou will also compete in the CTCC and China GT events.

CTCC·TCR China Gathers, Competition Fierce

The CTCC·TCR China Series returns to Jiading, Shanghai, for the penultimate round of the year, marking the start of a fierce final sprint for the season's championship. This event once again brought together numerous professional drivers and racing elites, with a total of 30 vehicles gathering in Shanghai.

Looking at the entry list, strong teams such as Lynk & Co Jiekai Racing, MACPRO Racing Team of China Macau, Zhejiang 326 Racing Team, Hunan Jiren Ziyou Tianxiang, and Zhuhai SS MRC Racing have assembled. In addition, emerging teams with outstanding performances in recent years, such as Shileshi Norris Racing, Guiyang DTM Racing By FORCE, and Mingxing OUR Racing, have also made their presence felt, presenting a high-level, multi-faceted competition.

The battle for the TCR China Championship Drivers' Cup title will evolve into an internal showdown within the Lynk & Co Jetta team. 2021 TCR Asia Champion Zhang Zhiqiang currently leads the Drivers' Cup standings, while David Zhu, winner of the 2017 CTCC Super Cup and 2022 TCR Asia titles, is only one point behind his teammate. How this internal battle, which will determine the outcome of the championship, will unfold will undoubtedly be the focus of the paddock at this race.

The competition in the TCR China Championship Challenge Cup class is also fierce. Eight-time Macau Grand Prix champion Pan Dejun of the Jiekai Racing Team currently leads with 252 points, followed closely by the talented Huang Ying of Guiyang DTM Racing By FORCE. Lai Jingwen of the Zhejiang 326 Racing Team, who made continuous breakthroughs in the first half of the season, encountered challenges in Ordos and hopes to regain his form and continue his momentum in Shanghai Jiading.

In the TCR China Challenge, Liu Zichen of Zhejiang 326 Racing Team secured the top spot after the Ordos round. Sun Juran of Guangzhou Spark Racing has been in hot form over the past two rounds, and the championship battle between these two drivers will once again be a hot topic.

CTCC China Cup reaches new heights, with numerous strong teams converging in Shanghai

The CTCC China Cup also kicked off its annual championship sprint at this event, with a total of 44 cars competing in Shanghai, a record-breaking field. Two major manufacturers, SAIC Volkswagen and Lynk & Co, along with strong teams from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Guizhou, and other provinces and cities, competed together, with veterans and rising stars pursuing their dreams on the track.

SAIC Volkswagen's 333 Racing Team will compete in the TCS class with the all-new Lamando L GTS. Champion Gao Huayang and multi-talented artist Aarif Lee will once again team up. Actor and singer Xu Weizhou will make his CTCC debut, partnering with Sun Chao to tackle a new arena.

Lynk & Co Racing and LPCC Racing have once again assembled a massive Lynk & Co team to compete in the TC2 class. Lynk & Co Motorsport Director Li Dan and professional driver Zhu Juan made their dazzling debut in Ordos and will now team up to tackle the F1 circuit.

TCR class standings top three: Ningbo Jinyutu GYT Racing's Tu Yat/Wang Honghao; Hunan Jirenziyoutianxiang's Han Chang/Jin Qiang; and rising university racing star Yang Zheng of the 300+ team will once again compete in Shanghai.

Beijing DTM Racing's Xie Yang/Yang Cheng, the No. 12 car of Beijing Feizi Racing Team, and Beijing Qidu Racing's An Junda/Guo Shen will continue their TC1 class championship run in Jiading, Shanghai, while also initiating a "civil war" within the Beijing City Team.

The TC3 class will witness passionate battles among entry-level racers. Guangzhou Spark Racing's Liang Jingxi/Zhong Jiaqing lead the class standings. Second-placed Shanghai Yile Racing will continue their home turf with their BMW 116s, facing off against front-wheel-drive contenders such as Ningbo Jinyutu GYT Racing's Honda Fit and Zongheng Racing's Hyundai Reina.

China GT concludes its year-end showdown with a star-studded finale

China GT ushers in its year-end showdown at this event. The nation's top teams, with 31 GT cars, gathered at the Shanghai F1 Circuit. Global supercar giants such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche gathered in Shanghai. The star-studded driver lineup and diverse brand portfolio made the final race highly anticipated.

The star-studded GT3 class once again captivated fans nationwide at this event. FIST Team AAI currently leads both the team and driver standings. Swedish star Erik Johansson holds the top spot in the driver standings with 136 points, aiming for his ultimate season goal in Shanghai. BMW factory driver Ugo De Wilde's return to action is also highly anticipated.

Driver #85 Wang Yibo will begin a new chapter in his racing career at this race. After a two-race hiatus, he will partner with Pan Junlin and join the #98 UNO Racing Team in the China GT Championship, hoping to achieve another breakthrough.

The GTS class will feature GT4 cars from BMW, Porsche, and Audi competing on the same field. Maxmore W&S Motorsport's Moritz Berrenberg, a season-ending favorite, currently leads the GTS AM class with 143 points, drawing considerable attention.

The competitive landscape in the GTC class has intensified with the arrival of several strong teams. Blackjack Racing, 610 Racing, and BC Racing by 610 will be battling it out at the Shanghai Circuit.
