GT Cup is expected to add GTM group

In order to further promote GT racing and provide more GT endurance race options for powerful drivers, CEC plans to add GTM group in the new season to attract more GT racing cars to participate in GT Cup. CEC will maintain communication with the participating teams and drivers, formulate relevant rules for the group based on the feedback of the contestants, and release more detailed information in the future.

2.0T and unified specification groups added to the National Cup

In order to attract more outstanding drivers and teams to participate and respond to the development trend of the automobile market, CEC will add a 2.0T group and a unified specification group to the National Cup in the 2025 season.

The 2.0T group is open to cars with 2.0T and above displacement (excluding TCR cars), which caters to the current market trend of 2.0T power being sought after in the automotive industry. It will help the National Cup attract more powerful teams to participate, enrich the types of cars in the event, and improve the competitive level.

In order to help more drivers participate in high-level endurance events, CEC will officially include the unified specification group in the racing group sequence in the 2025 season. The unified specification group will use the same model and specification of racing cars to create a fair, high-level, and highly participatory endurance racing platform. The unified specification group appeared in the CEC arena at the Ordos Invitational in the 2023 season, helping many outstanding drivers to complete the national endurance race. After officially becoming a group of the National Cup, the unified specification group will witness more elite drivers display their skills.

In the 2025 season, the original 1600A group and 1600B group will be unified and merged into the 1600 group, presenting more intense competition.
