Mirko Bortolotti, born on January 10, 1990, is an Italian racing driver hailing from Trento. A versatile competitor, Bortolotti has demonstrated his talent across various racing disciplines, achieving significant success in both single-seaters and GT racing. He began his racing career in karting before transitioning to formula racing in 2005, participating in the Italian Formula Renault Winter Series and Formula Gloria. Progressing through the ranks, he secured the Italian Formula 3 Championship in 2008. He further showcased his skills by winning the FIA Formula Two Championship in 2011 and the Eurocup Megane Trophy in 2013.
Bortolotti's career took a significant turn towards GT racing, where he became a prominent figure. From 2016 to 2019, he served as a factory driver for Lamborghini, contributing to the development of the Huracan GT3 racer. During this time, he achieved considerable success, including winning the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and the overall championship in 2017. In 2020, he briefly joined Audi before returning to Lamborghini in 2021. Since then, he has continued to compete in various GT series, including the GT World Challenge Europe and ADAC GT Masters, and in 2022 he raced in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM).
More recently, Bortolotti has been involved in Lamborghini's LMDh project, driving the Lamborghini SC63 in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with Iron Lynx since 2024. Known for his dedication and hard work, Bortolotti has established himself as a top-tier driver in the world of GT racing. He has secured victories in prestigious endurance races such as the Daytona 24 Hours and Sebring 12 Hours.
