Guo Haozhang took the first place, Wang Hao won the championship again

According to the rules and the draw results after the first round, the top six in the first round of the final will start in reverse order in this round. Coming to the last blow of the two consecutive races in Ningbo, the major drivers will go all out with the experience accumulated in recent rounds, and the balanced car performance will help the drivers to fight throughout the whole process.

Liu Ran of the GEEKE team, who started from pole position, successfully took the lead after the start. Wang Hao, who started from the third row, caught up with Liu Ran with a fast start and then became the first in the field. Lin Lifeng also rushed to the second place in the field, followed by Guo Haozhang.

Guo Haozhang actively pushed forward and soon surpassed Lin Lifeng and caught up with Wang Hao. After several rounds of competition, Guo Haozhang came to the top of the field, while Wang Hao steadily moved forward with the second place and the first place in the elite group (MT). Hu Hanzhong started from the 11th place in the field, and quickly came to the third place in the elite group (MT) after the start, and started a long cross-group struggle with Han Lichao in front.

Guo Haozhang led the way. Han Lichao caught up with Lin Lifeng and launched an attack. Hu Hanzhong also joined the battle. The three cars were connected head to tail and a fierce fight broke out. Lin Lifeng was better. With his rich experience, he repeatedly resolved the offensive and maintained his overall ranking. Wang Hao in front also gradually narrowed the distance with Guo Haozhang in the second half of the race.

Faced with the pursuit from behind, Guo Haozhang kept his pace and finally crossed the finish line again as the first in the whole field, winning the Greater Bay Area Group Championship.

Guo Haozhang said after the race: "Thanks to the event organizers. This is my first time participating in this event. I am very happy with every aspect of the race weekend. The performance of the cars in the event is balanced, and each player has their own advantages. I tried my best to drive in the race. I encountered challenges in the second half of the race, but fortunately I finished safely."

Wang Hao won the Elite Group (MT) championship again, achieving four consecutive wins this season. Lin Lifeng won the runner-up trophy in the group. Hu Hanzhong swept away the haze of the first round and won the third place in the group, and he was on the podium for three consecutive sub-stations.

Hu Hanzhong said: "In the first round of this station, I encountered a track accident at the start and did not finish the race. In this round, I started from the second to last row of the whole field. After the start, I went to the front smoothly and then moved forward at my own pace. I tried hard to chase forward in the first half and made the fastest lap time of the whole field, but it also caused excessive tire consumption, so I played steadily in the second half. The organizer of the event held a great race in Ningbo. I also unlocked the Ningbo International Circuit through these two stations and look forward to the next station."

He is very happy that he finally checked in this event: "I wanted to participate in the event when it was first established, and finally joined the event family this year. The significance of this event is that it can help drivers accumulate experience in offensive and defensive duels and constantly improve themselves. In fact, many professional drivers overseas will participate in this event because the competition in this series is very fierce. Thank you to the team for giving me the opportunity to participate. I am very happy this round."

So far, the Ningbo trip of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing China GR86 Cup 2025 has come to a successful conclusion. The event will move to Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit in September. We look forward to the drivers' wonderful performances in the next stop.
