2025 CEC annual calendar announced

The 2025 China Endurance Championship will start anew under the new rules, and the new season's schedule will be officially released. In the new year, the Endurance National Championship will visit four cities across the country, and the three major tracks of Chengdu, Ningbo and Pingtan will once again start passionate endurance duels. The final battle is scheduled to be held in Wuhan, Hubei. This is the first time in 6 years that CEC has returned to Wuhan, the city of rivers, to welcome the year-end gathering of heroes from all walks of life at the newly completed Wuhan International Circuit. In addition, after the end of the season, CEC tentatively plans to hold an invitational event in Malaysia.

Unveiling Tianfu and setting sail again

The 2025 CEC season will kick off at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit from May 30 to June 1. As a famous historical and cultural city, the host Chengdu will welcome the visit of the Endurance National Championship for the third time. Famous for being a domestic new track designed and built with the latest technical standards, the Tianfu International Circuit located in Jianzhou New Town, Chengdu, has had an inextricable relationship with the CEC event since its construction. At the beginning of its completion, it presented a wonderful annual ultimate showdown for the final battle of the 2023 CEC season.

The first battle of the 2024 season also presented a hot showdown on this 3.26-kilometer-long track. Under the witness of the national endurance race, the Tianfu Circuit officially opened its doors to welcome guests. As the first FIA Grade 2 track in the southwest region, it condenses the passionate racing atmosphere of the Bashu audience. The first endurance showdown of the new 2025 season will set sail here again, which will surely inject a different kind of passion and vitality into the entire season.

East China Circuit, Fierce Battle in Ningbo

Following closely, the 2025 CEC will travel 2,000 kilometers from the southwest hinterland to the Ningbo International Circuit on the coast of the East China Sea in July. This FIA Level 2 circuit located in Beilun, Ningbo has always been the core station of the Endurance National Championship, and it is also a battleground for many strong players camped in Ningbo. There are a total of 22 corners, winding and undulating in the mountains with a drop of up to 24 meters. This 4.01-kilometer-long track represents the highest difficulty of domestic track racing.

Since the Ningbo Circuit gave birth to the first official test of the CEC event in October 2017, this famous track in East China has hosted the most sub-station events in the seven seasons of the Endurance National Championship. The Ningbo Circuit and the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship have witnessed and achieved each other's development and growth. With the arrival of summer, these two golden signs of Chinese racing will once again join forces, which is destined to make this stop one of the most exciting events of the year.

Lan Island Tour, Revisit Pingtan

After the summer vacation, the Ruyi Lake International City Circuit in Pingtan, Fujian will host the third leg of the 2025 CEC season from September 26 to 28. Pingtan has been rated as one of the "Top Ten Sports Tourism Destinations in China" for many consecutive years. The Endurance National Race will be held on this treasure island in Fujian for the second time. The Pingtan Circuit built around the lake will also welcome top drivers to compete in street races.

This 2.937-kilometer-long Pingtan Ruyi Lake Circuit has a beautiful coastline and rich tourism resources. Its past experience in hosting races has also left a deep impression on drivers and fans. Last season, when the Endurance National Race visited Pingtan for the first time, warriors from all walks of life were not afraid of the harsh track conditions and hot weather, and staged a hot street race. The most popular corner of this track is the "Ruyi Bend", which is a semicircular arc with a radius of 359.99 meters. Only with excellent vehicle performance and delicate control and outstanding courage of the driver, the nearly 900-meter-long "Ruyi Bend" can show its colorful charm.

Go to Jiangcheng and return to Wuhan

In October, the CEC event will return to Jiangcheng Wuhan after six years, and will start the extreme racing on the first FIA Grade II track in Central China. This newly built track on the banks of Dongjing River has a length of 4.29 kilometers. As the longest track of this season, it will hold the "extended version" endurance showdown of the year.

Wuhan International Circuit has a poetic nickname - "Dream of Chasing Butterflies". This track with a total of 17 corners is named because it looks like a butterfly with its wings spread. It has two long straight lines and multiple high-speed combination corners, with a high average speed, which provides ample room for drivers to play endurance driving. After visiting Wuhan for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019, the CEC China Endurance Championship will return to this heroic city and continue to write a wonderful chapter in the new landmark of racing in Central China.

After the Wuhan station, CEC will tentatively add an overseas invitational race to lead drivers to compete in the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia.

In the 2025 season, the CEC China Endurance Championship will continue to uphold the spirit of endless endurance and bring more diverse racing experience to fans in the new season. The new calendar starts from Chengdu in the southwest, Ningbo in the east, Pingtan in the southeast, and Wuhan in the central China, forming a strategic layout across the east, middle and west of the mainland of the motherland. The planned new overseas invitational races also make the drivers excited. It can be expected that every track of the 2025 CEC will be full of challenges and every race is worth looking forward to.
