2025 Xiaomi China Endurance Championship Tianjin Station: The final challenge of the year is upgraded

News & Announcements China Tianjin V1 International Circuit October 14

As the season draws to a close, the 2025 Xiaomi China Endurance Championship (CEC) will conclude its annual season at the Tianjin V1 International Circuit from November 7th to 9th. This event will not only be the final stage for the annual championship, but also boasts a fully upgraded racing format, attracting top teams and drivers from across China to compete for ultimate glory in North China.

Tianjin V1 International Circuit: A Strategic Location for the CEC

As a key venue for the CEC, the Tianjin V1 International Circuit is renowned for its unique track design and challenging layout. The 4.3-kilometer track blends high-speed corners with technical, continuous turns, demanding the ultimate in driver control and vehicle stability.

In May 2023, this spot hosted a classic showdown in the season opener: driver Xie An's last-minute victory, along with teammates Wang Hao and Liu Ran, secured the overall GT Cup title, a feat still resonating with fans. Returning to Tianjin for the final race, the track's historic heritage and new challenges will undoubtedly spawn even more legendary moments.

Racing Format Upgrade: Endurance Challenge Becomes an Annual Tradition

This event continues the tradition of the CEC finale, further enhancing the core appeal of endurance racing. The GT Cup will be upgraded to a single 4-hour final, while the National Cup will feature two 3-hour rounds. The extended race duration will not only test the drivers' stamina and focus, but also place higher demands on team strategy, tire management, and fuel economy.

Looking back at the 2024 Zhuhai finale, the GT Cup's four-hour marathon attracted top drivers from across China and the US. Drivers were required to balance speed and stability in an extreme endurance race, which is the essence of endurance racing: "Time hones the true champion, and protracted battles testify to their strength."

Furthermore, this format adjustment has created a suspenseful outcome for the championship. Teams at the top of the standings must maintain zero errors under high pressure; any strategic deviation could potentially overturn the outcome.

The ultimate test: multiple challenges and safety assurances

November has already brought winter to North China, and the fluctuating temperatures will be another major challenge for the drivers. Tire strategy, car performance, and pit lane response time will all be key to victory for the team and drivers.

To ensure race safety, the official safety car, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, and the medical car, the Xiaomi YU7, will be on standby throughout the race, providing protection for the endurance athletes.

Three major events gather: Final week ignites a multi-dimensional competitive scene

In addition to the CEC, the CCSC China Sprint Challenge and the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing China GR86 Cup will also conclude their annual series on the same weekend. The CCSC, with its short-distance explosiveness, complements the CEC's endurance focus; the GR86 Cup focuses on fair competition in a single-brand event.

The three major events will be held simultaneously, showcasing diverse racing scenarios, from endurance to sprint, and from multi-brand to single-brand. Spectators will be able to experience the charm of racing from different perspectives all at once. The annual champions of the three major events will also be announced simultaneously at the Tianjin V1 International Circuit, witnessing the birth of the annual champion of Chinese motorsport.

The Xiaomi CEC Tianjin Finale combines a classic track, challenging competition system, and unique environment to create the ultimate showdown of the year. Now, the finale has begun, and we sincerely invite teams and drivers from across the country to participate. Push your limits in the freezing temperatures of North China and compete for glory in this national-level endurance race!
