Harmony Racing and WINHERE once again attack GT World Challenge Asia Cup

The 2025 season is approaching, and Harmony Racing is about to embark on a new journey. This year, the team will once again join hands with WINHERE Braking to return to the GT World Challenge Asia Cup under the name of WINHERE Harmony Racing. At the same time, the team has increased its lineup and sent two Ferrari 296 GT3 cars to debut in the new season!

In terms of the team lineup, the No. 96 car will be driven by WINHERE new star driver Deng Yi and Harmony Racing team director Chen Weian to compete in the Silver Cup category. The car uses white as the base color with blue decorative elements. There is a conspicuous "WINHERE" brand logo on the side of the car body, supplemented by the red pattern of WINHERE Racing.

The No. 55 car will be driven by gentleman driver Liu Hangcheng and Italian youngster Lorenzo Patrese in the Silver-Am category. The car is mainly light blue, and the body design incorporates white lines. The overall style is elegant and professional, and the light blue color creates a unique sense of refinement.

Since 2023, Deng Yi has participated in many domestic GT events as the chief driver of the Harmony Racing team WINHERE, and immediately demonstrated his extraordinary talent and learning speed. In the second half of that year, he made his personal GT3 debut and swept the double victory in the GT Sprint Series Shanghai Station. In 2024, he participated in the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship, TSS Thailand Super Series and GTSC events, and won the championship in each event. This year, he will be promoted to the GTWC Asia for the first time to meet the test of a higher level of competition.

Harmony Racing Team Director Chen Wei'an has extensive experience in major domestic and international competitions and team management. In recent years, he has represented the team in the GT World Challenge Asia Cup, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Challenge, Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race, SRO GT Cup and other events and won many awards. In March this year, Chen Wei'an and his teammates drove the Ferrari 296 GT3 car to the top of the Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race. He will continue his hot state and set a speed benchmark in the new season.

Liu Hangcheng will officially return to Harmony Racing this year, driving the No. 55 Ferrari 296 GT3. Liu Hangcheng joined Harmony Racing in the China GT China Supercar Championship in 2022, and in the following years he has witnessed his place in domestic Chinese events, participating in the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship, GTSSC, Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race, etc. Last year, he participated in the GTWC Asia full-year event for the first time, won the AM category podium in this world-class event, and drove the 296 GT3 car for the first time in the GTWC Asia race in the final battle in Shanghai.

Born in 2005, Lorenzo Patrese, now only 19 years old, is a rising star in the global GT racing field. He entered the GT3 field at the age of 16 in 2022, becoming the youngest driver to participate in the GT World Challenge Europe Cup. Over the years, he has gradually established a foothold in the European field with unremitting efforts, and won the championship in the Silver Cup and the higher-level Gold Cup category. This time in the Asian field, he will drive the new generation of the Prancing Horse car to meet new challenges and help Liu Hangcheng achieve good results in the Silver-Am category!

The 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Cup will include six races and twelve rounds. From April to June, the participating teams will welcome the "Southeast Asian Triple Race", visiting Sepang, Malaysia, Mandalika Circuit, Indonesia and Buriram Circuit, Thailand. In July, the midsummer, the event will start the Japanese schedule, with four rounds of mid-season key battles at Fuji and Okayama Circuits. In October, the team will return to China to compete for the final battle of the year at the newly completed Beijing Yizhuang Street Circuit, launching the final blow to the annual championship!
