In the 2024 season of Shanghai Jiading Station, the famous car blogger and "Keyboard Car God" Lu Chao and the automotive media person Li Chenyu participated in the competition of Group D of the Sports Cup on behalf of Xi'an No. 1 Station, and presented wonderful performances in the fierce battle.

The competition in Group D of the Sports Cup at Shanghai Jiading Station was fierce, with as many as 11 cars competing on the same field. The Li Chenyu/Lu Chao team encountered a car failure during the test run, but successfully recovered its competitiveness with the team's efficient repair.

Faced with the unfamiliar Shanghai International Circuit, the Li Chenyu/Lu Chao team faced the challenge and finally finished fifth and eighth in the group in two rounds of "55 minutes + 1 lap" fierce battles. Lu Chao concluded on his personal social media platform that he was attracted to participate in the CTCC competition by the Sports Cup and the team's high cost-effectiveness. Looking back on his participation process, he said that there were a total of 11 cars participating in Group D, most of which were sequential gearboxes, and they were driving a car equipped with a 5-speed paddle gearbox. On a large track like the last race, the straight-line speed was not enough, and this competition was a full challenge.

"On the first day of the official test drive, I realized that the challenge was greater than I thought. I went up to run, and the third gear was gone, and the wheel almost fell off. The inclination angle was directly 13 degrees. I hurried down to repair the car. The next day, the car was repaired overnight. I thought that since I didn't practice much yesterday, I would use the qualifying race as practice. After all, I not only didn't compete in the last race, but I didn't even do lap times in the last race. I was very unfamiliar with it. But, as luck would have it, qualifying was at 9 o'clock, so I asked my partner Li Chenyu to qualify. In the race. Because one of my opponents didn't run in qualifying, I started from the tenth place. The super sparse gear ratio made me get beaten when I was out of the corner. I had no competitiveness at all. I began to regret making the name on the car so big. But fortunately, my stability was good, and the car didn't have any problems. Finally, I finished fifth." Lu Chao concluded.
