2025 CTCC Shaoxing Keqiao Station concluded successfully

On June 29, 2025, the 2025 CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League Shaoxing Keqiao Station opened a glorious chapter. TCR China Series, CTCC China Cup, and cooperative event Super Ji League PRO played a symphony of speed at Zhejiang International Circuit. This station is the fourth consecutive year that CTCC has visited Zhejiang International Circuit since 2022. At the forum, CTCC shared a number of key planning ideas for the 2026 season, including technical rules, vehicle development processes, expected changes in the registration table, vehicle dynamic grouping strategy, BOP and performance control methods, and preliminary race calendar. While imagining the future development of the event, the participants reached a consensus on the prudent implementation of the current rules and jointly explored the best balance between the openness and standardization of the event. CTCC has always taken it as its mission to promote the progress of China's local racing industry. In this era of the comprehensive rise of China's automobile industry, CTCC is based on building a rule system with independent intellectual property rights, promoting local teams from racing enthusiasts and participants to long-term professional racing practitioners, and extending the life cycle of the club with the help of commercialization.

The heat wave and heavy rain did not hinder the excitement, and professional protection responded to the sudden change of sunny and rainy weather

The second round of the finals of Shaoxing Keqiao Station continued to be staged under high temperatures. Looking back on the journey of this Zhejiang race, CTCC experienced changeable weather with alternating sunny and rainy weather. The high temperature of more than 40 degrees Celsius and the sudden heavy rain challenged the organizers and contestants in turn. The intensive schedule and large scale of participation also put a severe test on the management of the event. The Lynk & Co 07 EM-P, the official safety car of CTCC, was deployed many times during the race weekend to protect the safety of drivers with technology and performance.

Under the professional guidance of the event organizer, the six rounds of the finals of the CTCC Shaoxing Keqiao Station were all successfully held and demonstrated a first-class competitive level. Xie Yang of Beijing DTM Racing climbed the podium of the China Cup TC1 group twice in this station. In the TCR China Championship, the focus confrontation between Lynk & Co Jiekai Team and Shanghai Z.SPEED N Team has once again stirred up waves. After the start of this round, Zhang Zhendong bravely broke through the front and back attack of the Lynk & Co team and established his leading position. Zhang Zhiqiang chased behind Zhang Zhendong and continued to put pressure on him, and Zhu Dawei also advanced to third place to escort his teammates. The wrestling between Zhang Zhendong and Zhang Zhiqiang continued until the last lap of the race. Zhang Zhiqiang launched a fierce offensive, while Zhang Zhendong defended the first place with tight defense. In the end, Zhang Zhendong was the first to cross the finish line and won the championship. He also continued to lead the annual points list of the Drivers Cup after this station.

Zhang Zhendong said after the race: "The first round final was very intense, and the second round was also very exciting. The ground temperature on Sunday was close to 60 degrees Celsius, and the temperature inside the car reached nearly 70 degrees. We still had to wear race suits in such high temperatures, which was a big challenge for all drivers. I started very well in this round. I was in the top three after the start and came second after the safety car. My strategy was to quickly surpass all opponents and avoid losing time in the fight. I was chased by my opponents after I took the lead. My power was relatively not advantageous, so I used the curves to control the rhythm of my opponents, wear down their tires, and do my best to protect my leading position. I am very happy to win the championship in the end."

Zhang Zhiqiang and Zhu Dawei won the second and third place respectively. Lynk & Co also maintained its lead in the annual points standings of the Team Cup and Model Cup. Zhang Zhiqiang said that the performance of Lynk & Co's racing car was excellent. "I had a good start in this round and the race went smoothly. The opponent tried to influence our tire management in the corners in this round, but I think the Lynk & Co 03 TCR is a very tire-friendly car in the whole race. The tires did not show obvious attenuation throughout the race, which also allowed me to maintain a good rhythm. At present, the competition for annual points has entered a white-hot stage. We will continue to try to improve the competitiveness of the vehicle after the race and strive for better performance in the next stop.

In addition to the strong competition between professional players, many elite drivers also presented dazzling performances. Lai Jingwen has been fighting harder and harder this season, winning the runner-up in the second round and delivering an excellent record of two rounds on the stage at the Shaoxing Keqiao station.
