The BYD Shaoxing Circuit is located on Pudong Fifth Road, Pukou Street, Shengzhou City, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, adjacent to BYD's Shengzhou base. It is BYD's third dedicated all-terrain racetrack for new energy vehicles, following those in Hefei and Zhengzhou, and is a rare dual-integration complex in China combining paved tracks and native mountain off-road terrain. The core track is 1758 meters long, featuring a 550-meter straight and 13 corners. It has received FIA Level 4 certification, with asphalt surface smoothness exceeding that of ordinary Class 1 highways. In short, it's a short track designed for experience, not an arena for lap times.

A simple calculation reveals its pace: 550 meters of the main straight is crammed into the remaining 1050 meters, which is then filled with 5 corners and their connecting sections, resulting in an average straightaway of just over 200 meters between corners. This means that you need to fully accelerate out of a corner, and as soon as the car picks up speed, you have to brake hard to enter the next corner. There are almost no sections of "full-throttle cruising" throughout the course, and the estimated lap time is under 1 minute. The 550-meter straight is the only outlet for this, and also the only place on the course where you can completely let go of the car and experience the burst of electric torque. However, the curb weight from the battery, combined with the short braking zone, means that the braking point will be significantly earlier than that of comparable gasoline cars. If you accelerate too early out of a corner, it is easy to understeer. This track actually tests the finesse of throttle opening.
