News & Announcements China Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit June 13
From May 30 to June 1, 2025, the 2025 Xiaomi China Auto Endurance Championship kicked off at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit. DTM Racing, which made its debut in the national endurance race, brought two cars to the National Cup 1600T group, bringing a dazzling record of one championship and one runner-up in two seasons.
DTM Racing is a new racing force that has risen rapidly in recent years. After winning many honors in the single-brand arena last year, it is actively attacking the national arena this year. The team sent two Volkswagen Golf cars to compete in the CEC Chengdu Station. The No. 78 car was driven by Wang Haosen, Wang Honghao, Ren Yongxin, and Ren Tingyi, and Yan Shaoling, Wang Junyao, Yang Cheng, and Xu Baoliang formed the No. 708 car group to go on the expedition together.
Round 1: Steady performance, straight to victory
DTM Racing performed well in the qualifying stage of the Chengdu Station. The No. 78 Wang Haosen/Wang Honghao/Ren Yongxin/Ren Tingyi car group and the No. 708 Yan Shaoling/Wang Junyao/Yang Cheng/Xu Baoliang won the second and third place in the group respectively.
In the first round of the final, No. 708 Yan Shaoling/Wang Junyao/Yang Cheng/Xu Baoliang took the lead in the group after the start of the race. The No. 708 team led steadily and gradually improved the overall ranking. In the end, they successfully maintained their leading advantage until the finish line, bringing back the 1600T group championship trophy for the team's CEC debut.
No. 78 Wang Haosen/Wang Honghao/Ren Yongxin/Ren Tingyi overcame the challenge and finished the race successfully to win the third place in the group.
No. 708 Yan Shaoling/Wang Junyao/Yang Cheng/Xu Baoliang said after the race: "We had some minor incidents at the beginning, and then encountered rain. My task was to successfully bring the car's rhythm up, and then safely hand the car over to my teammates. In the end, I was very happy to finish the race successfully."
Round 2: Fight hard, two cars on stage
In the second round of the "120 minutes + first car" competition, the No. 78 team of Wang Haosen/Wang Honghao/Ren Yongxin/Ren Tingyi always kept pressure on the leading opponents in the group, and finally crossed the finish line in second place in the group, winning the runner-up in this round.
The No. 708 Yan Shaoling/Wang Junyao/Yang Cheng/Xu Baoliang team led the race at the beginning, but was forced to stop after a half-axle failure. After the technician team's inspection, the No. 708 car returned to the battle in just over 4 minutes and eventually won the third place in the group.
DTM Racing actively participated in many national events this season. After the showdown in Chengdu, Wang Haosen, the founder and head of the team, explained his operating philosophy: "My goal is very simple, which is to provide good service, prepare the vehicles well, and integrate resources to enhance the competitiveness of the team."
DTM Racing completed its CEC debut with an excellent performance of two cars on the podium in two consecutive rounds. The next stop, the 2025 Xiaomi China Endurance Championship will move to Ningbo. We look forward to DTM Racing achieving more success at the Ningbo International Circuit.
