Absolute "takes the stage"! Four cars in Fuji Station all take the podium...

The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Challenge Fuji Station came to a successful conclusion today. After the twists and turns in the first round on Saturday, the Absolute team quickly adjusted its status and rebounded strongly in the second round of the race on Sunday. Looking back at the competition throughout the weekend, the four cars of the Absolute team all won the group podium trophy, showing excellent team strength.

In the qualifying race on Saturday, the team performed steadily. Brian Lee of the No. 63 car won the 9th place in the whole field, Haziq Oh of the No. 5 car ranked 11th, Vincenzo Ricci of the No. 37 car ranked 15th, and Umar Abdullah of the No. 88 car ranked 19th. In the second qualifying session, local driver Kohei Tokumasu won the 4th place for the No. 63 team, while Hairie Oh, Hiroshi and Dypo Fitramadhan ranked 5th to 7th in the AM category respectively.

Mixed blessings, the No. 63 team persevered to the end

The No. 63 team experienced ups and downs this weekend. In the first round of the race, it had the speed advantage to compete for the podium in the category, but it encountered an unexpected impact in the first half of the race. Although it successfully returned to the track, the clutch was damaged during the restart process. This also caused the vehicle to encounter trouble when completing the change of drivers during the mandatory stop, causing a significant drop in the ranking, and finally only won the fifth place in the category.

After the race, the team quickly completed the technical review and maintenance adjustments. In the second round of the race on Sunday, Desheng Guangping and Brian Lee jointly launched a counterattack and remained in the competition sequence for the podium and group championship. At the last moment, they remained in the runner-up position, but unfortunately they slipped at the end of the race and lost the opportunity to win the group championship and the podium. However, this new combination still finished third in the group, helping the team to gain valuable points and continue to accumulate potential for the championship in the latter part of the season.

Malaysian brothers perform tenaciously

Haziq Oh and Hairie Oh in car No. 5 continued to perform steadily. Although they were firmly in second place in the group in the middle of the first round, they had to stop again for repairs due to a collision in the final stage. With limited power, they had to retreat to the back to finish the race. However, the brothers did not give up. In the second round, they showed a calm driving rhythm, starting from the 16th place of the whole race, overtaking all the way, and finally caught up to the top eight of the whole race, and successfully climbed onto the group podium, ending the slump of returning empty-handed for two consecutive races.

Indonesian newcomers continue to break through

The Indonesian pair Umar Abdullah / Dypo Fitramadhan, who competed in the first full season, also showed a surprising performance. In the first round, the two drivers steadily advanced, seized the opportunity when their teammates encountered problems, and finished 8th in the whole field and runner-up in the group, creating the best record of the season. In the second round, the pair remained stable, won the 6th place in the group, and steadily advanced the annual points ranking.

New car team lands on the podium in its debut

This week's newly joined car team No. 37 also achieved outstanding results. Vincenzo Ricci / Hiroshi, wearing a special livery, quickly integrated into the rhythm of the race in their first appearance. Despite a minor collision in the first round, the two still worked together to get the fifth place in the group. In the second round on Sunday, they went one step further and successfully landed on the third place on the podium of the AM group, giving a perfect answer for their first battle.

With the end of Fuji Station, the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Challenge has entered a short break. The second half of the series will be re-ignited in Inje, South Korea in mid-July. Please look forward to the Absolute Team's attack again.
