Mak Hing Tak

Mak Hing Tak, born on October 28, 1959, is a Hong Kong S.A.R. racing driver with a diverse career spanning several racing series. Mak began his racing journey in 2009 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, where he competed until 2014. In 2012, he expanded his racing endeavors by participating in the Audi R8 LMS Cup. His early successes include a second-place finish in his class at the 2011 6 Hours of Zhuhai, where he drove an Audi R8 LMS.

In September 2015, Mak Hing Tak joined the TCR Asia Series and TCR International Series, driving an Opel Astra OPC for Campos Racing. Unfortunately, his debut was marred by a crash during the warm-up lap for Race 1, preventing him from starting either race. Despite this setback, he continued to pursue his passion for racing.

More recently, Mak Hing Tak has been seen competing in events such as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia - LC Cup in 2019 with Kamlung Racing Team, and the TSS Super Series in 2023. In the Marina Bay Circuit, he drove a Bentley Continental GT3. Beyond his driving career, Mak Hing Tak is also the President of KLM (Kam Lung Motors), a prominent automotive group. KLM's racing team has achieved significant success in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and Audi R8 LMS Cup, including winning the Dealer Team Principle Award in 2019 and the PCCA 2017 Pro-am class.
