Racing Driver Shi Wei

Shi Wei, a.k.a. “Tiedou”, is an influential Chinese race car driver and a multi-disciplinary extreme sports enthusiast. Here's more about her: Born in Baotou, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Shi Wei graduated from the Journalism Department of Ocean University of China. She is not only a racing driver, but also holds a number of professional licenses, including the National Automobile Racing License B, Helicopter License, Motorboat License, and PADI Rescue Diver. Shi Wei worked for Qingdao Customs News and Publicity Section after graduating from university, then resigned in 2018 and started her own business in short video platform, founding Yunshi Media Culture Co. With extreme outdoor sports as the core, she popularized outdoor extreme sports through new media platforms, and gradually accumulated rich experience in racing.

Race Results:
On June 24, 2023, Shi Wei participated in the fifth round final of the FIA Formula 4 China Championship.
On April 20, 2024, she finished sixth in the opening race of the Shell Heineken FIA Formula 4 China Championship and third in the CFGP Drivers' Cup.
On September 13-15, 2024, Shi Wei won the Challenge Cup at the Shanghai race.
In 2024, she also finished third in the Chinese Formula Grand Prix (CFGP).

Historic breakthrough: On January 24, 2025, F1 China officially announced that Shi Wei will participate in the 2025 Formula One Academy China as a wildcard driver, making her the first Chinese driver to enter the F1 Academy. This achievement is not only a personal honor for her, but also a milestone in the development of diversity and inclusiveness in Chinese motorsports.
