Formula 4 Chinese Masters

The 2025 F4 Formula China Masters, a national-level formula racing event certified by the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation (CAMS), was grandly held at the Xiamen International Circuit from December 19 to 21. This not only marked the event's inaugural hosting in Xiamen but also launched a five-year strategic partnership (2025-2029) with this 1.82-kilometer circuit venue, certified at FIA Grade 4. The Masters gathered 16 elite drivers, including Dongpeng Special Drink FIA Formula 4 Chinese Championship CFGP Series champion Dai Yuhao and China's first F1 Academy driver Shi Wei. Competing under a professional format featuring two free practice sessions, one qualifying session, and two final races, they vied for both the Drivers' Cup and Teams' Cup honors. Drivers piloted the M14-F4 race cars manufactured by France's Mygale, equipped with FIA-certified Geely 2.0L naturally aspirated engines capable of reaching top speeds of 240 km/h. The core value of F4 racing lies in providing a progression pathway for young drivers aged 15 and above, bridging karting to F3, F2, and ultimately F1. Since its inception in 2015, the FIA Formula 4 Chinese Championship has been dedicated to nurturing China's future motorsport stars. This Masters event also serves as the highlight of the “Yingzhong Auto Cross-Strait (Xiamen) Auto & Motorcycle Super League,” integrating diverse cultural activities to promote sports and cultural exchange across the Taiwan Strait and advance motorsports accessibility.
