Shanghai 8 Hours Overview

The Shanghai 8-Hour Endurance Race is a high-standard, high-level long-distance racing event. It not only fills the gap in this type of event in China, but also, as Shanghai's unique brand of automobile sports events, is of great significance to enhancing Shanghai's city image and building a national automobile sports industry cluster. The event is held at the Shanghai International Circuit, one of the holy places for Chinese motorsports and the center of Asian motorsports. The track is 5.451 kilometers long and includes high-speed bends, medium- and low-speed combination bends, and long straights, which puts extremely high demands on the vehicle's power, handling, and aerodynamic design. In the event, the team's strategic arrangements, pit stop efficiency and immediate response capabilities, as well as the driver's control of driving rhythm are all key factors in the competition. With its unique endurance challenge and high-level competition, the Shanghai 8-Hour Endurance Race has become a benchmark for Chinese sports car endurance events.
