TCR Asia Series 2025 Season Rules Highlights! A must-read for teams, drivers and racing fans

🔥 Preview of the highlights of the event

**1. Double round system: 2 races per station, each race is at least 55 kilometers or 30 minutes, the excitement is off the charts! **

**2. Points competition: qualifying + race double points, sprint for the title of "qualifying king" and "race champion"! **

**3. International specifications: Only WSC-certified TCR racing cars can participate, and the performance balance (BoP) ensures fair competition. **

📋 Drivers and teams must read the key points

Eligibility

· Certificates License: Drivers must hold a valid FIA international racing license + ASN license + medical certificate .

· Vehicle specifications: Only WSC-certified TCR racing cars , and pass the technical inspection (QR code version of TCR Technical Form must be submitted).

**· Car equipment: TCR data system and forward-facing car camera must be installed (screenshots are strictly prohibited from being leaked, and tampering will result in direct disqualification!).

🌟Compete for Cup Drivers

Even if you are the current or former Cup Drivers champion, you can apply to participate! Registration method:

· Submit a written application together with the series registration to the organizing committee

· The organizing committee will review your "sportsmanship", past performance, professional background, age, etc. to determine whether you meet the qualifications

🏁 Competition system and points rules

Qualifying (Q1+Q2)

**· Promotion mechanism: ** Q2 quota is determined by the number of participating cars

**· Qualifying points: ** Q1+Q2 comprehensive ranking can get up to 10 points!

Race points (maximum 40 points per race)

⚠️ Special circumstances:

· Race interruption: Full points will be issued after completing 75% of the mileage. Failure to meet the standard may result in halving or cancellation of points.

· Tie determination: First compare the number of champions → runner-up → third place, until the winner is determined!

🔧 Technical and strategic core

Tire restrictions

· Dry tires: Limited to 16 new tires in the first station, and a maximum of 10 new tires in each subsequent station. Old tires must be certified by the traceability system.

· Rain tires: Limited to 16 tires per station, and 1 set must be purchased for the first time.

**· Heating devices are prohibited! ** Violators will be severely punished!

Engine/Turbo

**· Limited to 1 engine for the entire season! ** Replacement will result in a 10-place penalty.

· Limited to 3 turbos, and replacement will also result in a 10-place penalty!

Increased rules:

· Single-station participating vehicles: First race + last race mandatory weight 20kg .

⚠️ High-risk violation area

**1. Absent from award ceremony/press conference: Maximum fine of $10,000 USD! **

2. Damaging the image of the event (unauthorized release of negative news): Team/driver maximum fine **$20,000 USD + expulsion! **

**3. Track violation: ** Accumulated 3 warnings for dangerous driving → Penalty of 10 positions at the next race. Accumulated 10 penalty points → 1 race ban!

🎬 Event process and media obligations

**· After qualifying: ** The top three drivers are required to attend "Lap King" award ceremony.

**· After the race: ** The top three drivers + Gen1 champion + team representatives need to reserve time to participate in media interviews .

**· On-board camera: The image is for internal use only. Leakage or tampering will result in disqualification! **

🚨 Emergency handling

**· Driver replacement: ** 7 days in advance notification is required unless it is force majeure. Delay penalty $1,500 .

**· Race interruption: ** Refueling is prohibited during the red flag period. Vehicles must queue up in the maintenance area fast lane.
