326 Racing Team sends Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II to participate in Sepang 12 Hours

On March 14-15, the 2025 Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race will officially start at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia. The 326 Racing Team will operate the GT3 model for the first time, using the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II racing car to participate in this 12-hour endurance race. Liu Zichen, Wu Yifan, Lai Jingwen and Xu Zheyu will represent the team.

Since the early days of the team, the 326 Racing Team has used the first-generation Audi RS3 LMS TCR racing car to participate in the CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League and other events. With the replacement of models, the team has purchased several new Audi RS3 LMS TCRs and has an Audi R8 LMS GT4 racing car to participate in various endurance events.

The Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II is an upgrade kit launched by Audi's motorsport department in 2021. It comprehensively optimizes the vehicle's suspension and overall aerodynamic effects to help drivers achieve better results on the track. The upgraded Audi car has achieved great results in the global arena, demonstrating the speed of Audi racing cars.

The Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race is one of the highest-level endurance races in the Asia-Pacific region. It will return to host an 8-hour race for the first time in 2023 and officially return to the 12-hour race in 2024. The 326 Racing Team will participate in the TCR category in 2024 and achieve category championship.

As one of the founders of the 326 Racing Team, Wu Yifan represented the team in various domestic competitions and achieved rich results. Promoted to the professional group in the 2023 season, performed many wonderful overtaking and won the fourth place in the race. In 2023, drove the Audi GT4 car to participate in the 8-hour endurance race in Shanghai and won the class championship. In the 2024 season, he continued to participate in the CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League and the Shanghai 8-hour endurance race. Unfortunately, he was unlucky and encountered many collisions and other problems throughout the season. He performed well in the Macau Grand Prix and strived to improve himself in the first race of the new season.

Liu Zichen joined the 326 Racing Team in 2021 and started his first CTCC season, winning the TCR Asia runner-up ; in the 2022 season, he drove the new Audi car to further improve his performance and won the CTCC Open Group Annual Third Place ; in 2023, he won the CTCC Master Cup Annual Championship , and he won the podium in the group 8 times throughout the season; in 2024, Liu Zichen participated in the CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League TCR China Challenge, and won the Championship Trophy six times throughout the year, and won the Annual Third Place with 341 points. At the same time, he won the Annual Runner-up of the Audi Sports Asia Cup.

Lai Jingwen joined the 326 Racing Team in 2022, represented the team in the Macau Grand Prix TCR Asia Challenge, and participated in some of the 2023 CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship and CTCC competitions, and won the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship TCE category annual championship , won the CTCC Open Group runner-up in the 70th Macau Grand Prix at the end of the year, participated in the CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League for the whole season in 2024, and won the Group Championship in the Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race, and has rich experience in endurance racing.

Xu Zheyu joined the 326 Racing Team for the first time in this race. He started his racing career in 2021 by driving the same Audi racing car. In the 2023 season, he won the overall championship in the opening race of the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship. In the 8-hour endurance race in 2024, he won the GT3 Am category championship.

Currently, the 326 Racing Team has arrived at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia in advance to carry out pre-race preparation and testing for the Audi car. We look forward to the team's first race in the GT3 arena to accumulate experience and achieve better results.
