Andrea Belicchi

Andrea Belicchi, born on December 18, 1976, is a seasoned Italian professional racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Belicchi's career highlights include winning the Renault Sport Spider Elf Trophy in 1998, followed by securing the Russian Formula Three Championship in 2002 and the Finnish Formula Three Championship in 2003 with Lukoil Racing. Transitioning from open-wheel racing, he also competed in Italian Formula 3000 and Formula Renault V6 Eurocup before making a move to sports car racing.

In the realm of sports car racing, Belicchi achieved notable success, including a GTS class championship in the 2006 International GT Open, partnered with Stefano Zonca. That same year, he clinched a GT2 class victory at the 1000 km of Nürburgring driving a GPC Ferrari. Belicchi participated in the Le Mans Series, initially driving a Spyker in 2007. Progressing through the ranks, he secured a second-place finish in the LMP2 class at the 1000 km of Catalunya in 2008. By 2009, he advanced to the LMP1 class, achieving an impressive second overall finish at the 1000 km of Silverstone.

Continuing his career in endurance racing, Belicchi joined Rebellion Racing for the 2010 Le Mans Series. Piloting a Lola-Judd, he achieved a third-place overall finish at the 8 Hours of Castellet. He later secured two second-place finishes in the Le Mans Series with Jean-Christophe Boullion, ultimately finishing as the runner-up in the LMP1 class. In 2012, with the LMP1 class removed from the Le Mans Series program, Belicchi remained with Rebellion in the FIA World Endurance Championship, driving a Lola-Toyota alongside Harold Primat. More recently, in 2015, Belicchi transitioned to touring cars, competing in the TCR International Series with a SEAT León.
