From May 9th to 11th, the 2025 CTCC China Automobile Circuit Professional League Zhejiang Ningbo Station officially kicked off, and all the official competitions were fully launched. The three major events of CTCC TCR China Championship, TCR Asia Series, and CTCC China Cup took turns to be staged, and the fierce competition ignited the Ningbo International Circuit. In the first round of the final on Saturday, Zhang Zhendong, a driver of the Shanghai Z.SPEED N team, successfully broke through the heavy double-teaming of his opponents and climbed onto the third place podium. His performance was commendable. In the second round of the final on Sunday, he went a step further and won the overall championship! As a result, Zhang Zhendong maintained his advantage in continuing to lead the TCR China Championship driver standings!

Fighting on the track and breaking through against the trend

On the first day of the race, Zhang Zhendong started in sixth place, and the five cars in front of him all belonged to the Lynk & Co camp. This means that Zhang Zhendong was under great pressure of "one person against five cars". After the start, Zhang Zhendong moved forward quickly, surpassing Li Guanghua and Pan Dejun to fourth place, and launched an attack on the top three.

Soon, Zhang Zhendong caught up with Wang Risheng, and the two sides launched a fierce offensive and defensive duel. After several rounds of confrontation, Zhang Zhendong surpassed Wang Risheng and broke into the top three of the field. At this time, the race triggered the safety car due to an accident. After the game resumed, Zhu Dawei and Zhang Zhiqiang of Lynk & Co. stayed in the front two, and Zhang Zhendong attacked the front two and had a fierce duel with Zhang Zhiqiang. I still have 40 kg of weight added in this station, which has a great impact on the balance of the car and tire wear. But I started well, gradually caught up, and finally caught up with Zhang Zhiqiang and started a wonderful fight with him. Zhang Zhendong of Shanghai Z.SPEED N team once again faced the Lynk & Co team, and launched a long offensive and defensive battle with Zhang Zhiqiang and Zhu Dawei of Lynk & Co Jiekai team. The cars of the two camps were almost connected front and back, and the stalemate was unsuccessful, presenting a wonderful confrontation that can be called "textbook level". In the end, Zhang Zhendong stepped forward and won the championship, returning to the closing grid with a victorious attitude!

In addition to winning the championship, Zhang Zhendong also won the Michelin Fastest Lap Award.
