F1 China Grand Prix Harmony Racing Team attends SRO GT Cup Opening

News & Announcements China Shanghai International Circuit March 19

This weekend, the new SRO GT Cup-Greater Bay Area GT Cup Qualifying will be unveiled at the Shanghai International Circuit. Harmony Racing will go out with a two-car lineup, with Chen Wei'an driving the Audi R8 LMS GT4 on behalf of Harmony Winhere Racing, and Ye Sichao driving the BMW M4 GT4 on behalf of GAHA Harmony Racing.

The SRO GT Cup is a new GT4 championship under the SRO Racing Group, the world's leading GT event organization. It will be held four rounds throughout the year, with a total of seven 30-minute sprint races. Two races will be held each race weekend, with each car driven by one driver. The SRO GT Cup was launched for the Chinese car industry, and the results of the race will also be counted in SRO's global GT4 manufacturer rankings. This weekend's first race will also serve as a supporting event during the long-awaited F1 Chinese Grand Prix, and will officially start under the attention of global fans.

Last season, Harmony Racing performed well in the GT World Challenge Asia Cup under SRO, and the team also won many victories at the Shanghai International Circuit. The team will continue the momentum of winning the Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia earlier, and launch an impact for honor in the new arena.

In terms of driver lineup, Harmony Racing will be led by team director Chen Wei'an this weekend. Chen Wei'an has extensive experience in major domestic and international events and team management. In recent years, he has won numerous awards in the GT World Challenge Asia Cup, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Challenge, and Shanghai 8 Hours Endurance Race. Last weekend, Chen Wei'an and his teammates won the championship at the Sepang 12 Hours Endurance Race. I believe he will continue his hot state and set a speed benchmark in the new arena.

GAHA Harmony Racing's Ye Sichao will drive the BMW M4 GT4 again this weekend. This powerful driver performed well in the domestic GTSC last season and won the group championship with his teammates in the Shanghai 8-Hour Endurance Race. This time, driving the familiar BMW M4 GT4 car back to the Shanghai race, Ye Sichao's performance is worth our attention.

The Shanghai Station of the SRO GT Cup and Greater Bay Area GT Cup Qualifying will usher in the qualifying and first round of the race this Saturday, and the second round of the race will start on Sunday! We look forward to the wonderful performances of the two harmonious drivers during the F1 weekend!
