Jonathan Morley

Jonathan Morley is an American racing driver with a diverse career spanning multiple disciplines of motorsport. Born on October 9, 1980, Morley's journey began in open-wheel racing, fueled by winning the Barber/CART Big Scholarship in 2001, an achievement that set him on the path to becoming a professional driver. He quickly made his mark, finishing second in the Rookie of the Year Championship in the 2001 Barber Dodge Pro Series, sharing the track with future stars like Ryan Hunter-Reay. Despite early promise, Morley's career faced challenges, leading him to explore other avenues within the racing world.

Morley transitioned into stock car racing, gaining experience on both short tracks and superspeedways in the ARCA Re/Max Series. However, he found his niche in endurance sports car racing, where he has been a consistent competitor since 2008. Driving an Audi RS3 TCR in the Michelin Pilot Challenge since 2019 with Road Shagger Racing, Morley has secured five wins and thirteen podiums, demonstrating his skill and adaptability. He has also won the TCR class at Daytona in the opening round of the 2023 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge with Gavin Ernstone. Beyond his driving achievements, Morley is a highly respected driver coach, working with drivers across various series and cars since 1999. His coaching style focuses on the art of driving and data analysis, drawing upon his family's background in education to maximize his students' potential.

Off the track, Morley's versatility extends to coaching in series like Ferrari Challenge NA, Lotus Cup USA, and Pirelli GT3 Cup, utilizing data from Motec, Pi, and Circuit Tools to improve driver performance.
