Sun Zheng

Sun Zheng, a Chinese professional racing driver, was born in Beijing on February 26, 1992. He is 182cm tall and weighs 68kg. Sun Zheng's racing career began at the age of 14. At the age of 16, he obtained a rally and field D temporary license and officially started to participate in the competition in 2008. In 2010, the 18-year-old Sun Zheng, as one of the youngest contracted drivers of the Dongfeng Nissan team, won the N2000 category championship in the Zhaoqing station of the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship. In the same year, he participated in the China Touring Car Championship for the first time and scored 13 points in the China Touring Car Championship mass production car group, achieving a good result of tenth in the group. In 2011, Sun Zheng transferred to the Haima Family Racing Team and scored 87 points in the China mass production car group competition, achieving the fourth place of the year, and helped the Haima Family Racing Team win the annual manufacturer's cup championship. In 2012, Sun Zheng performed well in many events including Audi R8 LMS Cup, FPC Youth Formula, China Formula Grand Prix, China Touring Car Championship, etc., among which he ranked first in the standings in China Formula Grand Prix and won the annual championship.
