Jiang Teng Yi

Jiang Tengyi, born in Shanghai in 1985, is one of the outstanding representatives of Chinese motorsports. His racing career began in 1998 when he started to compete in karting at the age of 13 and quickly showed his extraordinary racing talent. In 2000, Jiang Tengyi participated in the first series championship of his career and won the third place in the National Karting Championship in Shanghai. Subsequently, he won the championship of the Macau Jimei Challenge and the runner-up of the China International Karting Championship in 2001. In 2003, Jiang Tengyi participated in the German Volkswagen Formula on behalf of the "HG Mueller Sports" team and received intensive training at the Nuerburg Racing Academy. In March 2004, he successfully signed with the Italian PREMA POWER team, becoming the first Chinese Formula driver to sign with the Italian team, and participated in the Italian Renault Formula race that year. In 2005, Jiang Tengyi won the second place in the Asian Renault Formula Championship and also won the second place in the A1 Chinese Team Driver Selection Competition. In 2006, he represented the Chinese team in the A1 Grand Prix and won fifth place in Dubai. Jiang Tengyi has become a star in the Chinese racing world with his outstanding driving skills and competitive level.
