The TCR Japan Touring Car Series was a touring car racing championship based in Japan, established in 2019. It marked the country's return to touring car racing since the Japanese Touring Car Championship concluded in 1998. The series operated under the TCR regulations, which offer a cost-effective and competitive platform for manufacturers and teams.
