News & Announcements China Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit May 27
From May 30th to June 1st, the 2025 CEC China Endurance Championship will be held at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit. Rising stars Zhang Youlin and Sang Sien will form a new team under GYT Racing and drive the Honda Fit GR9 to compete in the National Cup category.
As a team with many years of experience and outstanding achievements in racing, GYT Racing will continue to stick to the Chinese endurance race this season, and support more young drivers to exercise themselves and achieve breakthroughs in the race with professional level and strong strength. Zhang Youlin and Sang Sien, who have risen rapidly in the arena in recent years, are among the representatives. The two drivers will work together to strive for good results in the dual test of speed and endurance.
Zhang Youlin has performed well in CEC in the past. Last season, he represented GYT Racing and won the second place in the group in the final battle at Zhuhai International Circuit. This season, he has reached a cooperation with GYT Racing again, and is looking forward to further improvement in performance.
Zhang Youlin, who has been fond of cars and competitive sports since childhood, has always loved racing since he opened the door to it. Due to his preference for endurance sports, CEC naturally became his first choice: "As the country's top, most authoritative and most valuable endurance event, participating in CEC is both a challenge and a good opportunity for me to exercise and learn."
"I am very happy to be able to participate in this event with the support of GYT Racing. This is a team with very strong comprehensive strength, with layouts from small horsepower front-wheel drive cars, TCR cars to formula cars. The team atmosphere is also very down-to-earth and low-key. The team is dedicated and rigorous, and can ensure the technical stability and competitive level of each game, and maintain an enterprising spirit in the game. Such a platform allows me to continuously improve my driving skills, continue to expand my experience, and have more attempts on the racing road."
Sang Sien, who has already shown his prowess in major competitions, is participating in the CEC competition for the first time this year. How to apply his past racing experience in long-distance competitions will be the first issue he will face. He said: "Driving a racing car can make people happy, and I also like challenging things. This time, I can cooperate with a team like GYT Racing, which has a long history of honor, and I can also partner with my good friend Zhang Youlin, which is naturally not to be missed."
The Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit is 3.26 kilometers long and has 19 corners with different styles. The radius of the corners varies, which puts high demands on the basic skills and rhythm control of the drivers. This race will be the first time for Zhang Youlin and Sang Sien to compete at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit. The two drivers have adopted similar preparation methods, including familiarizing themselves with the track through simulators, and conducting physical exercises to further strengthen their concentration and explosive power.
After sufficient preparation, the GYT Racing Zhang Youlin/Sang Sien team will confidently step into the start of the new CEC season, aiming for the championship and annual honors.
