FIA F4 China Championship Shanghai Grand Prix concluded

From May 16 to 18, 2025, the 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship Shanghai Station came to a successful conclusion. Dai Yuhao of ONE Motorsports won the fifth and seventh rounds of the finals, and Zhang Shimo of Yinqiao ACM GEEKE Team won the sixth and eighth rounds.

On the afternoon of May 18, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship Shanghai Station was grandly held at the Shanghai International Circuit. The 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA Formula 4 China Championship Shanghai Station is the second station of this season. 28 elite Formula drivers staged a strong dialogue. Drivers such as Zhang Shimo, Wang Yuzhe and Andrey Dubynin continued their outstanding performance in Ningbo Station. Many powerful drivers represented by F4 drivers Xu Yingjie and Yu Yan also staged their season debut in Shanghai, injecting new vitality into the event.

Chen Sicong and Xu Yingjie led Black Blade Racing in Shanghai. Chen Sicong won the runner-up in the fifth round, and F4 driver Xu Yingjie entered the points zone three times. Black Blade GP Cheng Meng appeared on the stage four times in the CFGP group, and Mickey, who returned to the event, also contributed a wonderful performance.

Zhang Shimo of Yinqiao ACM GEEKE team added two more championships in Shanghai for his first Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship season, and won the F4 group championship in all four rounds, reflecting the competitiveness of China's new generation of young drivers. Masters driver Fei Jun unfortunately retired in the fifth round due to an accident. He returned strongly in the next three rounds and won the group podium and valuable points. GEEKE ACM driver Shi Wei (Tiedou) returned to the F4 arena after his active performance in the F1 Acadamy Shanghai Station, winning two Challenge Cup third places and one Challenge Cup runner-up.

CHAMP MOTORSPORT once again achieved great success in all categories. F4 driver Chen Yuqi won the runner-up in the eighth round, and Masters driver Wang Yi won the group championship and points in all four rounds. Luo Yufeng and Zeng Weiye of the Champ Racing Team won the runner-up and third place in the Masters Group in the fifth round. Zeng Weiye added two group podiums for the team in the two rounds of the race on Sunday.

Venom Motorsport set off again in Shanghai with a new young lineup. F4 star Yu Yan entered the top ten three times in his debut and won the Best Rookie honor. Wang Yuzhe won the third place in the F4 group in the eighth round. Venom Pole Motorsport's Yang Peng won the third place in the Challenge Cup. The newcomer ONE Motorsports continued to perform well. Dai Yuhao lifted the championship trophy in the two-round finals on Saturday and Sunday morning, and won the runner-up and third place in the sixth and eighth rounds respectively. Another newcomer Pan Yiming appeared on the stage four times in the Challenge Cup.

Team KRC Masters driver Wu Jiaxin won a Gentleman Cup championship and a Gentleman Cup runner-up in his debut, and F4 driver He Zhengquan earned valuable points in rounds 6 and 7.

Apollo RFN Racing Team by Blackjack made a breakthrough in Shanghai, with international driver Andrey Dubynin taking the podium twice, and another F4 driver Zhang Xinhan also making continuous progress. Apollo RFN Racing Team by ART Masters driver Viktor Turkin won the group honors four times, and Huang Chujian, who participated for the first time, also had a wonderful offensive and defensive performance in the competition.

Han Yingfu, the Masters driver of Yingli Racing Sports Club, faced more intense group competition. With stable performance on the field, he reached the podium three times in the Gentlemen's Cup.

Li Jia, the Masters driver of SilverRocket AME Formula Team, contributed to the wonderful confrontation in the four-round final and took the stage three times in the Gentlemen's Cup.

GYT Racing teamed up with CFGP star Jing Zefeng in the team's second Formula One race. The CFGP driver won the Challenge Cup championship in the eighth round and brought the team the first points in the Formula One race.

Pointer Racing brought event rookies Liu Taiji and Yuan Yangzeshi to complete their season debut. Yuan Yangzeshi successfully finished three times in four rounds, and Liu Taiji's ranking rose by three positions in the seventh round final.

Yi Huan Yi Le Racing Team made its first appearance of the season in Shanghai, and Masters driver Zhu Zhenyu showed good competitiveness in qualifying.
