Zhou Yiran to appear at the 2025 F4 China Championship Chengdu Station

From September 12th to 14th, 2025, the 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Formula China Championship welcomed its fourth round of the season at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit. This race brought together 25 drivers from 15 teams across China, including Zhou Yiran of Frankenstein Racing, who took part in this thrilling competition.

On the afternoon of September 12th, the first qualifying session officially began, with all cars equipped with the official designated tires—Sailun tires. Zhou Yiran performed exceptionally well in that qualifying session, achieving a time of 1:26.265 and securing a top-ten finish.

In the second qualifying session, the competition intensified. Jing Zefeng of GYT Racing, Yu Yan of Venom Motorsport, and Chen Sicong of Black Blade Racing were the first to take to the track. ONE Motorsports' Dai Yuhao temporarily took the lead with a time of 1:24.403, while Zhou Yiran improved to sixth overall with a time of 1:28.163.

The subsequent finals saw rapidly changing conditions. During one round, Zhou Yiran's car stalled in the run-off zone, prompting the deployment of the safety car. Despite these challenges, Zhou Yiran and his team consistently gave their all, proactively addressing each challenge.

The 3.3-kilometer Tianfu International Circuit features 16 corners (including three high-speed S-bends and eight medium-speed bends). The combination of high-speed straights pushing drivers back and precise cornering forces tested their ability to balance the throttle and the body, presenting a significant challenge for Zhou Yiran. However, he demonstrated his driving skills and control of the car, leaving a deep impression on the audience.

While the final result of this race may be influenced by various factors, Zhou Yiran's fighting spirit and positive performance undoubtedly demonstrated his potential and passion for racing. As the FIA F4 Chinese Championship continues its season, with the final race of the year moving to the Zhuhai International Circuit from October 10th to 12th, we look forward to Zhou Yiran achieving even greater success in the upcoming events.
