From January 18 to 19, 2025, the fifth Abu Dhabi 6 Hours Endurance Race came to a successful conclusion at the Yas Marina Circuit in the United Arab Emirates. Chinese actor and racing driver Zhou Yiran participated in the race for the first time, driving the McLaren 720S GT3 EVO racing car of the Garage 59 team with teammates Adam Smalley and Louis Prette, and finally won the 11th place in the GT3 category.
The Abu Dhabi 6 Hours Endurance Race is an important part of the 24H series, attracting many top international teams and drivers to participate. During the race, drivers need to drive continuously for 6 hours under high temperature and complex track conditions, which is a great test of physical fitness and technology.
Zhou Yiran, born on November 22, 2000, is 182 cm tall. In addition to his outstanding performance in his acting career, he is also passionate about racing. Previously, he participated in the TCSC Sports Cup in 2024. In the sixth round of the Zhejiang International Circuit, he drove a Ford Focus car and represented the NKODA HW POINTER Racing team to win the first place in Group A.
In this competition in Abu Dhabi, Zhou Yiran worked with experienced teammates and demonstrated excellent teamwork. Although it was his first time to participate in an international endurance race, his performance on the track was recognized by industry insiders. After the game, Zhou Yiran said that he benefited a lot from this experience and would continue to pursue higher goals in the field of racing in the future.
