The fourth round of the 2025 Dongpeng Special Drink FIA F4 Chinese Championship will soon kick off at the Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit. The official tentative entry list for the race was recently released. A total of 25 drivers have registered for the event, vying for a fierce battle on the 3.264-kilometer track. The race will feature three categories: F4, CFGP, and MASTER. The field includes drivers from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and international drivers, ensuring maximum diversity and competition.

Clear Classifications Covering Different Competitive Groups

The Chengdu race will be divided into three categories based on driver skill and competition category, each with its own unique lineup:

1. F4: Core Competition Class with a Diverse Field

As the core class of the event, the F4 class features seven talented drivers from various regions and international competitors, making for particularly fierce competition. Two of the races are from Hong Kong, China – #21 Zhang Shi Mo (ZHANG Shi Mo) for the Silverbridge ACM GEEKE team, and #91 Chan Yu Tsai (CHAN Yu Tsai) for CHAMP MOTORSPORT. Taiwanese driver #58 Ho Ethan Zheng-Quan (HO ETHAN ZHENG-QUAN) joins Team KRC; and Macau driver #10 Lao Si Luan (LAO SI LUN VERNICE) competes for Asia Racing Team. Also on the grid are foreign individual driver #5 Andrei Dubynin, and mainland Chinese drivers #15 Wang Yu Zhe and #32 Yu Yan, the latter of whom competes for VENOM MOTORSPORT.

2. CFGP Class: Largest Contingent, Mainland Drivers Dominate

The CFGP class boasts the largest field of entries, with 13 drivers registered, primarily from Mainland China, but also including drivers from Macau. Macau driver Cheong Man Hei (#12) joins Apollo RFN Racing Team by Blackjack. Mainland Chinese drivers are spread across several prominent teams, including ONE Motorsports (#87 Dai Yu Hao and #7 Pan Yi Ming); Black Blade Racing (#63 Chen Si Cong and #17 Cheng Meng); and VENOM POLE MOTORSPORT (#24 Yang Peng), Pointer Racing (#3 Liu Tai Ji and #59 Yuanyang Ze Shi). All will compete for points in this class.

3. MASTER Class: Masters Class Returns, Experienced Drivers Lead

The MASTER Class (Masters Class) focuses on experienced drivers. Of the five competitors, two are from Hong Kong, China—#33 Law Andy (Law Andy) and #2 Tsang Wai Yip (Tsang Wai Yip), both from Champ Racing. Mainland Chinese drivers #68 Wang Yi (CHAMP MOTORSPORT) and #22 Li Jia (SilverRocket AME Formula Team) will also compete. Furthermore, foreign individual driver #98 Viktor Turkin has joined the Apollo RFN Racing Team byART, adding even more excitement to the event with his extensive experience.

Renowned Teams Gather, Fully Secured

The Chengdu race attracted several top domestic Formula One teams, including Yinqiao ACM GEEKE Racing, CHAMP MOTORSPORT, Apollo RFN Racing (including its two branches, by Blackjack and byART), ONE Motorsports, Black Blade Racing, and VENOM MOTORSPORT. These teams have long experience in domestic Formula One racing, boasting mature technical teams and event operations. They will provide professional support to the drivers and ensure a smooth running of the event.
