The 2025 FIA F4 Formula China Championship rules cover many aspects such as event organization, entry requirements, competition process, and penalty regulations, aiming to ensure that the event is fair, safe, and orderly.

  1. Basic information of the event: Organized by Mingtai Racing, it belongs to the China Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, with driver cups and team cups, and the races are included in the calendar. The championship has 5 races throughout the year, with a total of 20 rounds of finals, and the venue must have an FIA Level 4 track license.

  2. Eligibility and registration: Drivers must be at least 15 years old and hold the corresponding racing license and medical card to participate in the competition. Some drivers have age and season restrictions. Participants must fill in the registration form, submit relevant documents and pay the registration fee in accordance with the regulations. The team can register a maximum of 2 cars.

  3. Race rules

  • Race system arrangement: The race consists of practice and finals. The finals are 2-4 rounds, each round is 30 minutes plus 1 lap. The starting position is determined based on the qualifying results, and the starting position is determined differently in different rounds.
  • Safety regulations: The event has strict regulations on the use of safety cars, suspension and resumption of the final, and driver behavior standards to ensure the safety of the event.
  • Vehicle inspection and equipment: There are detailed requirements for car specifications, minimum vehicle weight, tire use, fuel supply, etc., and the driver safety equipment standards are regulated.
  1. Points and awards: Drivers and teams get points based on the final results. If the points are the same, there will be corresponding rankings. After the final, there will be an award ceremony with multiple awards. Some drivers and team representatives need to participate in press conferences and promotional activities.

  2. Violation penalties: The event arbitration committee will punish violations, including accident handling, protest appeals, driver violations, etc. The penalties are varied and aim to maintain fairness and justice in the event.
