Surpassing oneself: The evolutionary journey of 2024 CEC Manufacturer Cup champion Chen Jialong

The smoke of the 2024 CEC China Auto Endurance Championship has dissipated, and the fierce five-station journey has ended. The Autohome Hongqi Racing Team has made history this season. The Hongqi H6 model driven by Chen Jialong/Wang Tao/Liang Qi won five wins in five races in the Manufacturer Cup------becoming the first model in the history of CEC to achieve five consecutive wins, helping the Autohome Hongqi Racing Team return with honors on the 6th anniversary of its establishment, and won the 2024 Manufacturer Cup Annual Team/Driver Double Crown.

As one of the creators of this undefeated myth, the new generation of "track/rally" dual-role driver Chen Jialong has made great contributions to the team's numerous awards through his outstanding performance. In the second consecutive season representing the Autohome Red Flag Racing Team, Chen Jialong has completed a new round of transformation under the tempering of the Endurance National Championship, continued to surpass himself, and took a more solid step in his driver career.

Thanks to the rich competition categories and teamwork participation, the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship has always been an excellent platform for many racing rookies to challenge high-level competitions and learn and improve. Born in a famous rally family, Chen Jialong grew up in a strong racing atmosphere since he was a child. Like his rally champion father Chen De'an, Chen Jialong also embarked on a racing journey.

Starting from the 2023 season, Chen Jialong joined the Autohome Red Flag Racing Team to compete in CEC. In the test of long-distance events, he gradually honed his skills, continued to grow and evolve, and successfully achieved a breakthrough in performance and climbed to the top of the podium.

In the 2024 season, CEC will further expand the competition territory in the battle between the south and the north, and create a series of new sub-stations. Including Qinhuangdao Shougang Racing Valley, Pingtan Ruyi Lake International City Circuit, and Zhuhai International Circuit, Chen Jialong, who participates in the year-round competition, needs to face the test of many unfamiliar venues.

As an excellent driver who has crossed the two categories of venues and rally, Chen Jialong enjoys it and integrates the driving skills of different competitions. Relying on the experience accumulated in the ever-changing rally field and the strong adaptability of rally drivers, Chen Jialong successfully completed his tasks in the endurance race.

From the opening race at Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit to the following Qinhuangdao Shougang Racing Valley, Ordos International Circuit, Pingtan Ruyi Lake International City Circuit, and Zhuhai International Circuit. Chen Jialong showed a balanced and stable performance in different types and environments of tracks. The improvement in lap time not only enables him to easily complete the work of advancing or chasing from behind on the field, and stabilize the position of the team; the excellent car protection skills also enable him to turn danger into safety in the face of adversity when encountering vehicle failure. In the exciting 2024 season, Chen Jialong partnered with Wang Tao and Liang Qi to win the CEC Manufacturer Cup with a perfect record of five wins. After winning the driver championship, Chen Jialong has further demonstrated his outstanding talent and strength.
