Joel Eriksson

Joel Eriksson, born on June 28, 1998, is a Swedish racing driver making his mark in the world of motorsports. Starting his career in karting back in 2007, Eriksson transitioned to single-seaters in 2014, competing in the ADAC Formel Masters. He quickly progressed, becoming the ADAC Formula 4 series' vice-champion in 2015. His success led him to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2016, where he secured a race win at Spa-Francorchamps and finished fifth overall. Continuing in F3, Eriksson finished as runner-up to Lando Norris in 2017, notching seven wins along the way.

Eriksson then stepped into the highly competitive Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) in 2018, driving for BMW Team RBM. That year, he earned his first DTM victory at Misano, becoming the second-youngest race winner in DTM history. In recent years, Eriksson has also ventured into the world of electric racing. He served as a test and reserve driver for Dragon Racing in Formula E and made his debut in the series in 2021. More recently, he joined Envision Racing for the 2024 Berlin E-Prix, substituting for Robin Frijns. Currently, he is a reserve driver for Jaguar TCS Racing in Formula E, demonstrating his continued commitment to high-level motorsport.
