Winhere Harmony Racing Challenges GTWC Asia Cup Indonesia

News & Announcements Indonesia Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit May 9

This weekend, the 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Cup will resume at the Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia for the second round of the season. The Winhere Harmony Racing team is ready to go, and the four drivers Deng Yi, Chen Wei'an, Liu Hangcheng and Lorenzo Patrese will strive to achieve good results in the team's first trip to Indonesia!

The Mandalika International Circuit is located in Lombok, Indonesia. Since its official opening in November 2021, it has quickly become one of the most watched new tracks in Southeast Asia and even the global racing world. The track is 4.313 kilometers long and has a total of 17 corners. It combines the characteristics of a street track with the safety of a permanent track. It adopts a unique hybrid design and brings diverse driving challenges to all contestants.

Southeast Asia's love for two-wheeled events can also be seen at the Mandalika Circuit, which has hosted two world-class motorcycle events, WSBK and Moto GP, since its opening. The GT World Challenge Asia Cup to be held this weekend will be the first international car event held at the Mandalika Circuit. Shengdi-Harmony Racing will also take advantage of this excellent opportunity to compete with top drivers from all over the world and strive for glorious results.

Looking back at the season opener at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia, the No. 96 car was driven steadily by Deng Yi and Chen Wei'an. Although they unfortunately encountered a collision at the beginning of the second round on Sunday, the two drivers were still able to stand on the podium in both rounds and gain valuable points. They are currently ranked second in the Silver Cup category standings.

Liu Hangcheng and Lorenzo Patrese in the No. 55 car also showed their potential in the fiercely competitive Silver-Am category. They were just one step away from the podium in the Saturday race, but were involved in an accident in the melee of the midfield group on Sunday, losing the perfect opportunity to compete for the podium in the category. The two drivers are currently ranked sixth in the Silver-Am category standings.

Since almost all participating teams will visit the Mandalika Circuit for the first time this weekend, each team's grasp of the track characteristics, the tuning of the car performance and the selection of tires will play a key role. In addition, Indonesia, which is also located in Southeast Asia, will inevitably have potential weather changes. The team also needs to make immediate strategic adjustments based on this situation, which will undoubtedly become one of the key factors affecting the race results.

Shengdi-Harmony Racing will start a new round of competition at the Mandalika Circuit. The four Harmony warriors and all the team members will work together to write a glorious chapter belonging to Shengdi-Harmony Racing with a courageous attitude and tacit cooperation, and charge towards the victory of the Mandalika Station in Indonesia. We look forward to their wonderful performance this weekend!
