This document is the competition rules of the 2025 CTCC China Cup, covering the organization of the event, eligibility, competition process, results evaluation, penalties and other aspects, providing comprehensive specifications for the smooth development of the event.

  1. Basic information of the event
  • Hosting and management: It is hosted and uniformly managed by Shanghai Lisheng Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd., and the China Automobile Federation and the event promotion agency are the organizers.
  • Calendar arrangement: The preliminary calendar is announced before January 1 every year. It is a national competition consisting of multiple sub-stations.
  • Eligibility: Drivers who meet the license requirements and cars that meet the registration and technical regulations are accepted for registration, and the cars are grouped according to their technical characteristics.
  1. Competition process and rules
  • Practice and qualifying: Practice includes free practice and qualifying. There are two free practice sessions, each of which does not exceed 30 minutes; qualifying generally does not exceed 20 minutes, and the results and starting positions are determined by the time of a single lap.
  • Final: The duration is 55 minutes plus one lap, and a 2×2 start is adopted. Some sub-stations will have super sprint races. After the finals, the ranking will be in reverse order, and the winner will be determined in 3 laps.
  • Special situation handling: In case of accidents, weather and other conditions, the race director can decide to use the safety car, suspend or resume the race, and implement the corresponding procedures according to different situations.
  1. Results evaluation and award setting
  • Points rules: Drivers' Cup, Team Cup and Super Sprint Race all have points, which are allocated according to the ranking of the race. The points calculation method is different in different situations.
  • Award setting: Drivers' Cup, Team Cup, Annual Best Club Award, etc. are set. The winning rankings and awards are determined and presented according to the number of registered cars in each sub-station.
  1. Participation regulations and penalties
  • Registration and certificates: Registration is divided into annual one-time registration and single-station wildcard registration. Registrants need to sign an agreement and fill out the registration form. Certificates are divided into annual and sub-station certificates, and there are restrictions on the use of different types of certificates.
  • Violation penalties: For violations of the rules, the event arbitration committee may impose various penalties such as passing through the maintenance area, time penalties, fines, etc., and serious violations will result in disqualification from the competition.
