The Willy MXR team successfully defended the title of the CEC National Cup Chijia 1600A team championship

In the 2024 season, the Willy MXR team continued to show its strong dominance in the CEC China Automobile Endurance Championship National Cup Chijia 1600A category. With the excellent performance of the two supporting teams of Huang Ying/Lin Hao/Jin Zheng/Lu Chao and Liu Qinyi/Su Jiangnan/Chen Jiaqi/Yang Haoyu, the Willy MXR team successfully achieved the goal of defending the title and won the annual team championship of the CEC National Cup Chijia 1600A category for two consecutive years. In terms of the annual driver awards, Lin Hao/Jin Zheng and Huang Ying/Lu Chao also won the runner-up and third place of the annual driver of the National Cup Chijia 1600A category respectively.
In the 2023 season, the Willy MXR team made its debut at CEC and amazed everyone, winning three consecutive victories in the National Cup Chijia 1600A group with a blockbuster------taking the annual championship honor into its pocket one round in advance, and fully mastering the competitive landscape of the group. The Honda Fit GK5, a strong partnership between the Willy Racing Team and Guogui Racing Technology, also created the feat of the first time in the history of CEC that a National Cup Chijia 1600A car topped the field with its excellent performance and outstanding stability.
This year, the Willy MXR team has maintained its momentum and further consolidated its dominance in the National Cup Chijia 1600A category. In addition to the unexpected setback of two cars retiring in the opening race in Chengdu, the Willy MXR team quickly regrouped and stood on the podium in all the subsequent four sub-stations, winning three of them.
In the second race of the season, the Willy MXR team's first journey in Qinhuangdao Shougang Racing Valley ended successfully with a fruitful double trophy in the group. The Huang Ying/Lin Hao/Jin Zheng/Lu Chao team easily won the National Cup Chijia 1600A group championship with a very dominant performance. Liu Qinyi/Su Jiangnan/Chen Jiaqi/Yang Haoyu added another group third place trophy for the team.
The third stop was in Ordos. Huang Ying/Lin Hao/Jin Zheng/Lu Chao performed well in the National Cup Chijia 1600A group. They were far ahead in the 240-minute endurance battle in the two stages of the weekend, and finally won the second consecutive victory of the season.
In the fourth race, the Willy MXR team visited Landao Pingtan for the first time with the Endurance National Race. On the Pingtan Ruyi Lake International City Circuit, the Willy MXR team once again showed its strength in the National Cup Chijia 1600A group competition, with the No. 111 Liu Qinyi/Su Jiangnan/Chen Jiaqi/Yang Haoyu combination and the No. 112 Lin Hao/Jin Zhenghao winning the first and second place. The Liu Qinyi/Su Jiangnan/Chen Jiaqi/Yang Haoyu team showed strong adaptability and took control of the field early. The No. 111 Honda Fit GK5 car, steered by four drivers, moved forward steadily and never lost the lead position to others, eventually winning the first victory of the season. Lin Hao/Jin Zheng also took the stage consecutively, bringing back the runner-up for the team.
The final battle of the year returned to Zhuhai International Circuit. Liu Qinyi/Su Jiangnan/Chen Jiaqi/Yang Haoyu, who once led by a large margin, lost speed in the second stage of the competition and finally finished second. Huang Ying/Lin Hao/Jin Zheng/Lu Chao finished fifth.
Combining the five races throughout the year, the Willy MXR team won 3 championships, 2 runner-ups and 1 season in the National Cup Chijia 1600A category. The Willy team continues to gain a foothold in the national endurance championship with amazing performance.
