2024 Review丨Glorious Journey, Yinqiao ACM Team Completes a Strong Return

Yinqiao ACM Racing Team was established in 2020 and is the only racing team in Suzhou that participates in national-level racing events. Yinqiao ACM Racing Team completed a strong return in the Shell Helix FIA Formula 4 China Championship in the 2024 season, and its driver Jing Zefeng won the third place in the Challenge Group.

Dedicated

In the competition of the 2024 season, Jing Zefeng, who competed on a single car, reached the podium twelve times and won the runner-up in the Shanghai station. "Every member of the team is very dedicated." Team leader Xu Ziyang said.

Jing Zefeng once led the race in the 14th round of the Shanghai station, and competed with Fu Yuhao of Black Blade Racing in the last lap, and finally crossed the finish line in second place. This hard-won runner-up is the highlight of the team's season and the best performance of the Yinqiao ACM team since its return.

Xu Ziyang still remembers this vividly: "In September, in Shanghai, it was a typhoon day. Facing the ever-changing weather and track adjustments, the driver's experience and on-the-spot judgment, as well as the tacit cooperation of the team, won the second place in the whole field."

Overcoming challenges

Before the start of the season, the Yinqiao ACM team expected to challenge the annual ranking and finally won the third place in the challenge group. In Xu Ziyang's view, the team needs to continue to work hard: "We are still some distance away from the goal."

Looking at the 2024 season, Jing Zefeng, as the main driver of Yinqiao ACM, not only climbed the podium of the group many times, but also scored points twelve times in the fourteen rounds he participated in.

Xu Ziyang revealed that Jing Zefeng overcame many challenges during the season: "Because of work reasons, the driver needs to cross China and the United States for each race. Under the challenge of less practice time and adjusting to the time difference, the driver still showed the level he should have."

Going further

In the final battle in Zhuhai, Jing Zefeng climbed the Challenge Cup podium for three consecutive times. In the first lap of the last round, he surpassed his opponent and took the lead for a while, and finally won the 18th round of the Challenge Cup championship, which brought a successful conclusion to the 2024 season.

After a strong return in the 2024 season, the Yinqiao ACM team also expects the team's performance in the new season to be even better, "striving to do better than 2024". What kind of performance will the Yinqiao ACM team bring in the 2025 season, let's wait and see!

F4, Formula 4, is a formula event founded by the International Automobile Federation in 2014.
