Zhan Jia Tu

Jim Ka-to was born in Hong Kong on November 28, 1984. He is the son of the famous Hong Kong racing driver Jim Cheong-shing. At the age of fifteen, he was selected by Racing Development Co., Ltd. and went to France to receive full-time training at the Lafayette Racing School. In 2003, Jim Ka-to won the runner-up in the BMW Formula Asia held in Thailand. In 2004, he participated in the Asian Formula Renault Series and was spotted by Dr. Helmut Marko of Red Bull, becoming the first Chinese driver sponsored by Red Bull in Europe. In the same year, in the Formula Renault Challenge held in Macau, Jim Ka-to qualified in the first position and eventually won the runner-up. In 2008, Jim Ka-to participated in the Macau Grand Prix while on bail and won the seventh place in the Pacific BMW Formula Event. In the same year, he won the last two championships in the Asian Formula Renault Championship and became the annual champion with a total score of 308 points. In 2011, he competed in the Chengdu Station of the China Touring Car Championship and said that he would focus on the touring car race in the future and hoped to become an international driver. During his career, Zhan Jiatu has achieved excellent results in many international competitions, demonstrating his outstanding strength and potential as a Chinese racing driver.
