About Tim Miles
Tim Miles is a New Zealand racing driver with a diverse background in motorsport, both on and off the track. Hailing from Ashburton, a town known for producing racing talent, Miles' journey began at the age of 15 with local hill climbs in a Mk. 1 Cortina. He competed domestically before venturing to the UK, where he contributed to teams in British Formula 3 and the British Touring Car Championship, celebrating three titles with notable drivers like David Brabham.
Returning to Australia, Miles co-founded Tasman Motorsport in 2004. In 2011, he played a role in brokering the sale of Supercars to Archer Capital. After eight years away from driving, he linked up with old friend Andy McElrea, racing a Porsche in the GT3 Cup Challenge and later, the Carrera Cup Australia. In 2015, Miles became a partner in Triple Eight Race Engineering Australia. He currently drives an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II for Dayle ITM Team MPC in the GT World Challenge Australia, partnering with Brendon Leitch. Miles brings a wealth of experience and passion to the track.
