Steve Brooks is an experienced New Zealand racing driver currently competing in the GT World Challenge Australia. Born on November 7, 1954, Brooks brings a wealth of experience to the track. In 2024, he partnered with Australian Porsche stalwart Nick McBride in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia, driving an Audi R8 LMS Evo II prepared by Melbourne Performance Centre.
While relatively new to the Australian GT3 scene, Brooks is no stranger to Audi GT3 cars. He has a strong background in New Zealand GT racing, including the South Island Endurance Series and Tony Quinn's six-hour event at Highlands. He also participated in the Bathurst 6-Hour.
