Racing Driver Sergio Perez

Sergio Michel "Checo" Pérez Mendoza, born on January 26, 1990, is a Mexican racing driver. "Checo" began his racing journey at a young age, starting in karting at six years old. His early successes in karting led him to Europe, where he competed in Formula BMW and later won the British Formula 3 Championship in 2007. He progressed through the ranks, eventually landing a spot in GP2, where he finished as runner-up in 2010.

Pérez made his Formula 1 debut in 2011 with Sauber, showcasing his talent and earning a reputation as a skilled driver. After a stint with McLaren in 2013, he joined Force India in 2014, marking the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership. With Force India, and later Racing Point, Pérez consistently delivered strong performances, securing multiple podium finishes. A significant moment in his career came in 2020 at the Sakhir Grand Prix, where he achieved his first Formula 1 victory. In 2021, Pérez joined Red Bull Racing, partnering with Max Verstappen. With Red Bull, he has continued to achieve success, contributing to the team's championship efforts and adding to his tally of race wins. Sergio finished runner-up to Verstappen in the 2023 World Drivers' Championship.
