Racing Driver Eric Kwong

Eric Kwong Hoi Fung, born on October 23, 1982, is a distinguished auto racing driver hailing from Hong Kong S.A.R. Kwong has built a solid reputation in various racing series, showcasing his talent and determination on both regional and international stages. While he's known for competing in the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship, he gained wider recognition through his participation in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

Kwong's journey in the Hong Kong Touring Car Championship began in 2009, steadily climbing the ranks. He secured third place in 2010, followed by a second-place finish in 2011. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he clinched the championship title driving a Super 2000 Honda Accord, winning five out of eight races. In 2012, Kwong made his WTCC debut at the FIA WTCC Race of China, driving a naturally aspirated Chevrolet Cruze LT for Look Fong Racing Team. He qualified 24th, the fastest of the naturally aspirated cars, and achieved a best result of 18th in race one.

More recently, Eric Kwong has been actively involved in series such as the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia. He has driven race cars including the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO II and various Porsche 911 GT3 Cup models. As of late 2024, Kwong's racing record includes a total of 41 races with 38 podium finishes (16 first-place, 14 second-place, and 8 third-place).
