Yifei Ye

Yifei Ye, born in Xi’an, China, is a professional racing driver known for his achievements in both single-seater and endurance racing. He began his career in karting, quickly securing national titles in China before competing internationally. Moving to France in 2014, Ye advanced through the ranks, winning the 2016 French F4 Championship, becoming the first Chinese driver to achieve this in European formula racing. His progression continued with strong performances in Formula Renault and Euroformula Open, where he claimed the 2020 championship title. Transitioning to endurance racing, Ye joined G-Drive Racing and later W Racing Team, contributing to their successes in the Asian and European Le Mans Series. In 2021, he became Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific’s first Chinese driver and later joined Hertz Team JOTA for the FIA World Endurance Championship, competing in the Hypercar category with the Porsche 963. In 2024, Ye signed with Ferrari and secured a victory at the Lone Star Le Mans COTA 6-hour race, making him a prominent figure in endurance racing.
