Prototype Cup Europe

Prototype Cup Europe is an international sports car racing series organized by Creventic in partnership with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and Michelin. Established in 2026 as the successor to the Prototype Cup Germany, the series represents an evolution toward a more international European platform. It focuses exclusively on third-generation LMP3 (Le Mans Prototype 3) machinery, which features Toyota-based twin-turbo V6 engines. The competition follows a sprint format, typically consisting of two 55-minute races per weekend, each requiring a mandatory pit stop. The series is open to a variety of driver pairings, allowing Bronze, Silver, and Gold-rated drivers to compete under specific regulatory frameworks designed to ensure a level playing field for both young talents and experienced amateurs. A major highlight for participants is the championship prize: the overall winner receives a reserved entry into the following season's Michelin Le Mans Cup, which includes a spot in the prestigious Road to Le Mans race during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The inaugural calendar includes historic venues such as Mugello, the Nürburgring, Monza, and Spa-Francorchamps, often serving as support events for Creventic's established 24H Series.
