The FIA TCR World Tour, inaugurated in 2023, is an international touring car racing series featuring TCR-specification vehicles. It was established to succeed the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) and serves as the pinnacle of TCR competition globally. The series integrates professional drivers with international experience and competitors from various TCR regional and national championships, fostering a diverse and competitive racing environment. A season consists of several rounds selected from various regional and national TCR series, where a group of full-season drivers and teams compete against local entries, with both able to score points for the TCR World Tour standings.
The 2024 season featured events at circuits such as Vallelunga in Italy, Marrakech in Morocco, Mid-Ohio in the United States, Interlagos in Brazil, El Pinar in Uruguay, Zhuzhou in China, and the Guia Circuit in Macau.
This structure allows the series to showcase a variety of racing venues and conditions, enhancing its global appeal. The TCR World Tour continues to evolve, maintaining its commitment to competitive touring car racing and providing a platform for drivers and teams to demonstrate their skills on an international stage.

The event was professionally and meticulously organized, with efficient and smooth processes. From vehicle inspection and timing to logistical support, everything was handled exceptionally well, allowing drivers to fully immerse themselves in the race. The track design was extremely challenging, with a well-balanced mix of fast and slow corners, offering overtaking opportunities while also testing drivers' racing lines and car control details. The event was highly fair, with intense and pure competition, allowing drivers to compete against the world's top drivers, making every attack and defense thrilling. TCR truly respects drivers and race cars, making it the ultimate stage that every touring car driver aspires to!
The TCR World Tour Chengdu Tianfu Station was absolutely thrilling! The entire race was exhilarating. The Tianfu International Circuit is full of ups and downs and countless curves, making for constant battles and suspense every lap. The world's top touring cars competed on the same track, their engines roaring, creating an atmosphere that was absolutely electric. The event was professionally and smoothly organized, providing a fantastic viewing experience and maximizing the excitement and thrill of touring car racing. It truly deserves its status as a world-class event; coming to Chengdu to see this race is definitely worthwhile!
